I would think it could be used in conjunction with the anti aging cleansing gel. Both products rinse off and the exfoliating beads are very gentle.

Yes, I use the Anti-Aging cleansing gel everytime I wash my face, but only use the buffing bead a few nights per week, after I use the gel. Both are great products and last a long time. A little goes a long way!!

I sure do! I use the cleansing gel before to remove the makeup/impurities that easily wash off. I use the Buffing Beads to gently exfoliate my skin and to remove any additional makeup or impurities I missed with the cleanser.

You can use both in one day but only one at a time. It is not healthy to overcleanse/overexfoliate and with the gycolic acid, salicylic acid and buffing beads you would be doing that if you used one after the other. When you dry out/irritate your skin in this way it will cause it to be red, dry and maybe even cause your oil glands to overproduce oil (aka acne/oilyness ick!). Dryness will also emphasize wrinkles. You could use one in the morning and the other at night if your skin handles the products well, or maybe try and use this exfoliator every couple days if sensitivity is/becomes an issue. Hope this helps

Question
Can this be used with the Clarisonic Mia?
I know that some scrubs can't be used with the Mia, but others can depending on how big the "beads" are. I use Philosophy's Daily Scrub with no problems with my Mia, so I was wondering about this.

Honestly, I never used this product with a face brush. However I use a body brush. The beads are really small

It depends on your skin type, using an exfoliator and the Clarisonic is not always recommended.

YES! I use the brush almost everytime when using this product. It works the same either way. Sometimes I like using my fingertips just to feels the beads going to work on my dead skin cells.

You should use one OR the other. Together, there is serious potential for damaging effects to your face.

Yes you could use it with the Clarisonic because the beads are really small and wont irritate your skin with the Clarisonic.

I would not use it with one. I think that that would be too harsh on your skin.

I'm sure it won't remove either. Its' a very gentle exfoliator and while there are little scrubbing beads, I think most of the work is done by the acids in the wash. It's great for taking off dead and dull skin, but I don't think it is your best bet for blackheads or whiteheads.

I would have to say no; it seems as though this only helps prevent them. Try st Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate and remove blackheads/whiteheads. That is the only product I have ever found to date that will will work wonders!

I am not sure about the full-size bottles but Beauty Insiders can get a PTR kit with the Cleanser, Buffing Beads, a moisturizing sunscreen, and a really cool brush that dispenses sunscreen but goes on like a translucent powder. I've attached a photo of the 4 items that came in my kit. That way you can see their size, etc. These items were $35.00 in a set.

I have not used The Givenchy product but have used Philosophy peels. the biggest difference is the buffing beads vs the buffing crystals in the peels which i feel are stronger. I think this product would be better for acne.

I have oily skin and I tend to break out sometimes really badly on my cheeks and jawline this is a gentle scrub does not irritate and is non drying I have even used it when I am broken out and it helps to clear my skin. Works for me. Try a sample of both and see which works best that is what I do then I buy the one that I think works best for my skin you can usually tell right away even after just 1 use.

Question
Compared to Botanical Buffing Beads?
Does this have the same texture of exfoliating beads as the PTR Botanical Buffing Beads (the blue one)?

I have thin, pale, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and the Botanical Buffing Beads is the ONLY scrub I can use on my skin regularly, as it doesn't seem to "scratch" the skin like so many others do, but it's sold out everywhere.

If they're basically the same scrub texture-wise but with the added glycolic and salicylic acids, I'd be willing to give it a try.

Thank you!

Honestly I don't know. I never tried the "blue one" However, if you have acne prone skin especially on your body its not the intensity of beads you should be looking for. If I were you I would buy a body scrub brush. The brush helps exfoliate your skin and gets deeper into the pores. I have only used this orange PTR Anti-Aging Buffing Beads For Face and Body because it was the only body wash I actually saw results. I recommend only dampening the skin while applying the scrub. If you are completely soaked the water will just wash it away and the ingredients won't have time to work its magic (2-3minutes) then wash it off. Remember the gunk in your pores are hydrophobic and the body wash is hydrophilic this is why you shouldn't have the water running while you bath.

This will helps healing the skin. I am not sure what you mean by removing whiteheads. But they will reduce over time. Using this in the shower i would recommend wetting your wash cloth but not your body. Lather onto the skin and wait 2 minutes after contact to wash it off. You need to give your skin time to absorb the molecules otherwise if your skin is too wet the moisture gets replaced by water molecules instead.

This is great to use on your body prior to shaving to get a very close, smooth shave and prevent razor bumps. It will not work by itself to completely remove dark spots...but I have used this for two years and noticed it does make them less visible (mine are sunspots and probably caused by birth control RX). I found that I have to use a dark spot treatment as well for the results I wanted with my sun spots.
I buy one bottle that lasts about ten months...would definitely recommend this product!
