The correct order is after cleansing and toning the skin, use Rev-ver Upper, then moisturize. At this point I let things soak into the skin. Depending on the day I put an additional sunscreen on (SPF 15 is not good enough for the bright sun around here) Then after that soaks in use Prime Time then Bare minerals. I have dry skin, so none of this overly builds up for me. My skin needs all the hydration it can get. Rev-ver upper alone is not enough, I definitely need a moisturizer in addition to it. So if you skin is like mine, that is what I do and it works great. People say I have porcelain skin and I am forty.

I use this with Revver-Upper, but no other moisturizer, before make-up.

I have used the moisturizer first then the rever upper product and it worked well although I did find using the moisturizer was too much and the Rever upper moisturized well for me. experiment with it and see what works best for you :)

Laura Gellar's Welcome Matte seemed too thick to me. It was also hard to get out on the bottle. When you put on the tiniest amount it was ok, but it didn't seem to cover without getting flaky, especially around my nose, chin and eyes. Prime Time never gets flaky.

I use it right before applying makeup so I let some time elapse after moisturizing and or using serums so that it absorbs better.

I don't know if that's the "proper" order, but that's how I use it...

I don't know about reverupper, but you would apply Prime Time after moisturizers. (after sunscreen, before foundation!)

The primer did make me break out terribly, and it made my skin super oily. I now use the hourglass mineral veil primer and that stuff is magic in a bottle it's a bit pricier, but ever since I haven't had problems with my skin.

Sorry to say this made my oily skin even more oily and did aggravate breakouts. The Skin Revver Upper is a light moisturizer/primer that did not break me out and felt good on my face. It doesn't function that well as a primer though.

I struggle w/ cystic acne also at times (birth control is the only thing keeping it in check) but NO it has not aggravated my acne (cystic or otherwise) - that's why I like it so much, and a little goes a long way.

No, it does not. A primer is supposed to be a layer between your skin and foundation so that your foundation can sit on top of the primer and not sink into your fine lines, pores, or wrinkles. I used this even when I have active/cystic acne because it actually makes me feel safer knowing that my foundation and any bacteria won't go into my pimples. Also, this product is supposed to be organic so it shouldn't make your acne worse.

This Prime Time actually made me break out more then ever. Everyone's face is different so I'm not 100% sure if this will make your cystic acne worst. It also made my forehead very oily looking, so I had to return it. If anything, I'm sure Sephora can give you a sample to give it a try before you decide to purchase the product.

I thought the same thing when I first was introduced to this product. never have had a problem with acne while using Prime Time.

it didnt make mine worse no, and i have to tell you i think in conjunction with the Retin-A cream my doctor prescribed me, it cured my cystic acne and i barely ever get them now.

The Skin Rev-Upper is basically vitamins/glycolic/salicylic acids which exfoliate your skin. The Prime Time is a primer.

Personally, I prefer the skin revver-upper, because it's made my skin MUCH clearer - I've been using it every day before my moisturizer for the last couple of months and have not had a single breakout (which is totally not normal for my skin - usually I have them fairly often).

For me personally, the rever upper caused me to break out pretty bad, whereas the primer did not. The primer states oil free on the bottle, which works better for my skin type.

I don't honestly know the difference between Prime Time and Skin Rever Upper but I have used both and prefer the Prime Time. I think the Skin Rever Upper is more of a moisturizer and Prime Time prepares your skin for longer-lasting makeup. I prefer this product because I like the consistency, it is thick and dries quickly while the Skin Rever Upper is watery and takes longer to dry. It also makes my skin so soft.

I also started with the Rever upper product from the kit and felt it wasn't enough as I have oily skin, the Rever upper product is sort of a base for your BE products. I bought the Prime Time and found that it gave a better coverage for the BE productswhere I didn't have to make ANY touch ups.I tried using the products at the same time and I got a more matte look to the make up, and was amazed at how well the BE products lasted through out the day/night. Just need to let both products dry well before applying powders. Hope this helps.

Yes, this works no matter what moisturizer or foundation you like to use. You may skip foundation all together if you have an even skin tone. Just be sure to apply after your moisturizer. Wait about a minute and apply a small amount of the primer. Watch a new you transform before your eyes.

Absolutely YES! I previously used a Clinique foundation with it...and have switched to a Dior foundation, but both have worked well with this primer.

As you will see in numerous other reviews, Prime Time will work with liquid foundations as well as the mineral foundations. Now, each individual foundation varies slightly however, I have used BM to Chanel to Dior and never have I experienced a negative result.

I used to wear Bare Minerals make up but now I wear Being True mineral foundation and this products works just as well with it. I've never had a problem using a different brand in combination with the bareVitamins Prime Time.

Yes! I use this with my Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation every day, and it works beautifully!

I use it with a liquid foundation. I haven't been that pleased overall with the Prime Time, but it can be used with liquid or mineral.

I use liquid Lancome makeup and this primer works great!

It works really well with both. I use a liquid for certain places, like my eyes and the primer helps it.

I use this product before I apply Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (liquid - medium coverage) The Primetime helps my face look smooth and not cakey. So I would definitely recommend this product before applying liquid foundation.

i've used it under mac studiofix & aveda tinted moisturizer, & it works well under it all.

I am currently using it under Make-up Effects liquid and it works okay. I haven't been all that impressed with it to begin with, so I may look elsewhere.

I've used it with bare minerals and with the sephora brand. It seems to work really well with anything, so long as it does not have glitter in it.

YES! I use this primer under my liquid Laura Mercier foundation and it works fine. I sometimes use it alone with a little a bronzer blush to add a little color either way my skin looks even and soft. Your skin will love this product!

This primer works great! I've talked to others who use and and they feel the same way I do - it's a must. Think you'll be very pleased with it.

This primer is great! I have tried a lot of primers in the past and you will not be disappointed with this one. Fills in wrinkle lines and larger pores. Gives your makeup a more air brush look.

Never had used any other product but this one and I love it! It is quick and very easy to apply and absorbs almost instantly. Would never use anything else and I'm glad I got the sample for free or I would have never known how good this product is. Highly recommend it.

I haven't tried the fx stuff before, but I use the BE primer every day and I absolutely love it and recommend it. It's lightweight and helps foundation stay put very well. Give it a try! It's really great :)

Yes it does work well with dry skin, I don't really have an skin care routine I don't put much of anything on my face so it gets dry sometimes. When I use it. it helps my make-up looks better.

i do not have dry skin, and tried this only one day and it dried my skin out so badly it started burning. i will never use it again.

My skin is combo and gets pretty dry in the mid-Atlantic winters, but I really like this primer because even when it dries to the touch, it doesn't dry my skin out--it's got a really nice light silky feeling and makes a smooth palette for your foundation and concealer.

I also have very dry skin. I like Prime Time because it doesn't make my skin feel so dry and helps put a buffer between my skin and the make-up

I think it would work wonderful on dry skin since after I use it my face feels silky smooth.

i also have oily, acne-prone skin and this works very well for me. Although everyone's skin is different, it definitely does NOT break me out, and i think it has made my skin healthier-looking.

I bought this product for that reason and I have seen a definite improvement. I use the primer, then liquid foundation, then powder.

this is the worst primer i have ever used, it dries your skin terribly and doesnt even work, and i try ALOT of products. my favorite is urban decay brightening primer potion, it works and even without makeup your skin looks more polished, plus it feels clean and fresh and isnt oily.

This definitely NOT the product for you! I have skin similar to you, and this product only clogged my pores and caused break-outs.

This is definitely what you need. I have never have a problem with my make-up staying on. Once in a while I will go to bed with my make-up on and it still doesn't come off. Great stuff!!

I put it on after my regular moisturizer has absorbed.

I wear Hope in a jar and apply it first then the Prime Time on top once the moisturizer has dried.

I use this after my skin care routine: Serum, toner, moisturizer and then primer. And of course, I wait a few seconds to let each product be absorbed by the skin...

My understanding (and what I do) is that you do your face wash routine - soap, toner, moisturizer - and then use the primer before your foundation. Although, of course, you can skip any of these steps if you're not a fan or in a rush!

I would recommend using lotion first, then primer.
