Seductive Rose WITH the pink pencil, which is the creamist pencil I've ever used that actually lasts, looks beautiful. This is not a long lasting formula per se, but with the pencil and a lip sealer it does last a good amount of time for a lightish color.

It depends on how much color you are looking for. I purchased Secret Pink, which is a more natural tone and works well for my fair complexion. It's described on Sephora as a muted coral, but to me it looks more like peachy rose color. I really like it.

Can anyone with 09 Ideal Fuchsia please describe it's color, texture, opalescense, sheerness please? I'd like to find a dupe for some UD Lipsticks that I like but usually end up changing so I want to get the look I want in 1 step (for example I'll layer Kat Von D's Gunshine over Trainwreck to make it a darker fuscia.) Will this color look like that in just 1 step? Than you!

Hi!!
I Love the dark Fuchsia's too! The Rouge Interdit is really pretty; but it's a lighter shade.
Here's what I purchased from Sephora that sounds sooooo close to what you'd like...
(I wanted the same, a much darker, but gorgeous Fuchsia)
I bought it here online:
It's The Dior Addict Lipcolor
Spotlight Violet 983 (vibrant magenta) Item # 1144476 ....

Please take a look at it. It's very creamy, moisturizing, with a little shimmer.

The color is a little shearer than it looks in the tube, but it is fuschia when it is applied. It is not as long-wearing as I thought it would be. I thought it looked more matte on the lips. I didn't think the texture was rich enough.

unfortunately, no. i found that this particular lipstick came off easier than my other lipstick arsenal. if you want a long wearing lipstick, stick with matte formulas. i highly recommend NARS pure matte lipstick.

Unfortunately, it's not extremely long lasting. It lasts a fair amount of time I'd say about 1 to 3 hours (without eating or drinking). However the texture feels so silky and moisturizing that sometimes I am willing to over look it.

Since Sephora changes the Shades of Lipsticks...
As of today's date, I believe the Shade appeared is;
~ 20 Illicit Raspberry (raspberry red)~
It's gorgeous! This Lipstick color has the same iridescence in opalescent blue shimmer.

"Cool" shade suggestions for me? UD dupes?

If anyone can help me choose some shades that are "cool" or with blue undertones I would appreciate it. I know these online swatches aren't great but I'd like some Givenchy Lipstick after liking the feel in-store but didn't see as many colors there. Any colors that have that blue undertone, especially pinks (darks & lights/brights) for night or daytime. I can wear a pretty strong lip but would also like a more natural one. I'm trying to find dupes for Urban Decay (Vinyl, Trainwreck, Jilted, Hotpants, Indecent.) I saw one of the new Fall/Winter colors in-store that I think I can replace my Indecent with but they don't have it online yet, only the mauve colored one so far. Thank you!

Alright, this may or may not help you. I am very pale with pink undertones to my skin. I have red-pigmented lips, though, so I often can't wear nude or pink lipsticks because they disappear. I recently bought Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in Black Plum and my take is that it's a blue-toned, sheer deep red. It provides a very nice, dark alternative to the classic red lip. It looks quite dark compared to my skin and shows up well on my pigmented lips, even after a hard blot. Based on my experience, I think if your skin has neutral or cool undertones this lipstick will be very flattering, even if you have a high level of lip pigmentation. I also read a review where a woman with "golden undertones" said it was very flattering, so it could be one of those rare universal shades. I hope this helps!

I just bought Givenchi lipstick in Ukraine and wonder if it may be fake.

It looks just like in the picture but I was surprised by the very unpleasant taste reminding me of the car oil. It stays in the mouth for a long time. It has a weak chemical smell that also reminds of car oil. One other thing that I noticed: the lipstick is placed inside a white plastic tube, you can see the end of this plastic tube when the lipstick is rolled out. The plastic tube is placed inside the silver tube that I can see in your picture. Does your silver tube has a plastic tube inside that actually contains the lipstick or is the lipstick inside the silver tube and you cannot see any plastic? Also, the moment I touched the ribbon, it tore off. Thanks for clarifying my concerns.

I always buy mine from Sephora and yes the lipstick is contained in a white plastic tube that you can see if you roll all the lipstick out. I don't think its smells like motor oil, the fragance reminds me of baby powder or baby oil. Yours might not be fake but maybe it went bad already. Remember that lipstick doesn't last very long and it depends a lot under what conditions you stored it. Hope this helps! :)

Hi !!

I own 3 different colors (#04 Racy Brown, #31 Fatal Plum & #32 Delice Brown)
Each one; as you have described "does have the Lipsticks in a Silver tube- with a plastic white (protective casing) around each Lipstick."
The plastic is protection against the metal. Without this, our Lipsticks could turn color or become rancid tasting.

My Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick's all have a slight perfume smell. It doesn't smell, or taste bad at all.
~ I wonder if you have gotten an old one. The taste and smell turn when they are older. (I've throw out a few due to this.)
(Did you possibly get this at a lower price than Sephora has it listed? If so...You may have gotten an older version)
~ If you have a way to return this, I would. Make sure to explain the rancid smell (I'm kinda doubting that you can since it's another Country)

~Otherwise, If this looks pretty on, and is still long-lasting...try not to lick your lips & make sure you use a Lip Balm underneath
(That will help keep your Lips protected from any oils gone bad)

My only concern is I haven't heard anyone else describe what you are smelling & tasting...

(I also own 3 in Givenchy's Sheer Shades with the same ribbon)
I've only heard a few ladies mention the ribbon not lasting- but usually it's due to trying these on a key chain.
All 6 of my Lipsticks still have the ribbon in tack.
I'm sorry to hear you've had these problems. See if you can return yours for a new one...In the mean time:
These are beautiful. I do hope you'll be able to try a new one soon.

I highly suggest trying the "Pretty Rose" #08!! It works well for me...I feel It will work very well with your fair skin tone, too! Although I'm a brown- eyed brunette,I have extremely fair skin with pink undertones. This lipstick is amazing...you'll love it. Hope this suggestion helps you a bit!
