I usually use mine with a synthetic eye brush (for cream/liquid products) but I've used my finger before too and it goes on basically the same!

I way prefer a small concealer type brush for application. Using your finger will not allow optimal, professional looking blending. Just dab in jar and brush in round, upward sweeps until shadow is built to your liking. You can set with powder after creme shadow is dry if so desired...obviously using a separate shadow brush. What's color would look good on hazel eyes?

I have contacts so I can only use cream shadows, otherwise the powder goes in my eyes. I'm just looking for a nice shadow for my hazel eyes, but won't look horrible with my fair skin.

I have the same skin tone and have green eyes that sometimes look hazel! Use RSVP, it's gorgeous! It's light and subtle, very flattering. To make it stand out, I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance primer before using the shadow. I've been using it for a few years and always receive compliments and people constantly ask "What eyeshadow do you wear?" It also helps to wear a punchy lipstick (red, tangerine) to spice up the look, or use a pink or a peachy nude to keep it sweet and pretty.

I'm not sure how to answer this question. It sounds like it may have gotten over-heated while traveling. Maybe try to mix together the color with a little petroleum jelly? A little Vaseline will look dewey on the eyelid. It doesn't hurt to try! Hope this helps.

Skinny Jeans is a great one to start with because it's not too dark yet still noticeable and would look gorgeous with your brown eyes. Strut is also beautiful but it is darker with a blue tone, which would look beautiful with brown eyes as well, but I am not sure if you would want to wear it everyday, since it is a more darker/smokey eye look.

I too am fair with black hair and brown eyes, and I personally love it but I also love super smokey eyes. As for strut, I personally think it has more of a deep gray coloring if applied VERY lightly, and a rather black shade if applied in layers. I suppose out of all the colors, this would be the closest to what you want, but I still think it may be a bit dark for you. If you decide to go for it, I would recommend applying it with your ring fingers and rubbing them together a bit before, so it doesn't come out too dark. I wouldn't particularly recommend it for the day, either. Hope this helped a bit!
