Question
Is TheBalm "Hot Mama" too similar to Benefit's Coralista to buy both? Are they similar or are they different colors entirely?
I already have Benefit's Coralista, but after reading rave reviews about TheBalm's Hot Mama, I want to give it a try...I'm just worried I'll be purchasing a product too similar to what I already have. I am of Swedish decent, and have medium-light skin, blonde-hair, and blue eyes...can anyone give me some advice??? Thanks!

The balm hot mama is WAYYYY better than benefit's coralista! CORALista is more pink, while hot mama is a gorgeous glowing sheer coal powder{not much pink to it} It's gorgeous-buy it, you'll LOVE it! I have the same skin tone as you, and i loved it! :)

I find Benefit's blushes require alot of layering. I have to add quite a bit to see the color on my face. This blush goes on so easy and you don't need much and leaves a beautiful color!

This blush goes on very pinkish. If you have pink undertones, you'll look sunburned! I have fair skin with dark hair and it didn't look right on me. I think it would be beautiful on someone with darker skin. The underlying gold highlighting quality makes any wrinkles stand out too. If your skin is flawless with no red undertones, it could work great.

Colors and products by all brands are always going to have some similarity. It's all preference when it comes to color and brands. If you are having doubts, don't get it. Otherwise, compare the products side by side and see what you like best.

Coralista doesn't have the shimmer/sheen like this product. I swear, everyone needs this! Also, it is peachier than Nars "orgasm". You will love it.

No, they are different so you could buy both, but if you're only going to buy one, you should get the hot mama. The online picture doesn't do this blush justice. It's a gorgeous peachy pink color with a golden sheen, similar to Nars Orga$m, but without the heavy glitter. It has just the right amount of shimmer. Coralista is a dark coral color and it's more orange and hot mama is more pinky peach, so you could get both.

Just a tad similar, i think that Coralista has just a bit of a deeper color. I tested both at Sephora in different light, the store clerks probably thought I was crazy, but I ended up getting Hot Mama...the sheen and luminosity and the color was just really pretty, I was just more drawn to Hot Mama. I am light-medium skin tone, hazel eyes and chocolate brown hair. All I wore today was Perfekt foundation, Dior mascara, Hot Mama and Soul Sista...and my husband said to me "see you don't need any makeup" ha! Little did he know I was wearing it all! Well, I hope I somewhat helped you.
