Yes, there is almost a full-circle mirror on the inside and there is an included round sponge applicator, which is under the powder pan.

I've attached a pic to show you the mirror and a close-up pic of the included sponge applicator.

I have oily skin, and very oily skin in the summer. I didn't get the chance to use this over the summer, but so far (in the fall) I find this foundation works very well with my skin.

It does a great job controlling shine, and touch-up's are easy with the included sponge applicator.

If you use this and find you need to touch-up after 2 hours or less (not just blot.. but touch-up), you may want to consider using a setting powder on top to add that extra level of insurance.

I bought this in 201 Ivory and it is too pale for me. It seems it would suit someone with a red or strawberry hair and very white skin. I am just 'light' - I wear the Mat Velvet in 30-Porcelain and it is spot on for my skin colour. I don't know if this info helps - good luck! OH, almost forgot, I find this absorbs oil very well, I have super oily skin and I actually carry this in my purse for touch ups throughout the day. I apply it with the Tarte kabuki brush.

Question
199 vs 200
I used the shade selector and it matched me to 199, but it just arrived and I think it's a bit too dark for my very pale complexion. Can someone please tell me if 200 is lighter because it looks that way on the thumbnails?

I use 201 and my sister is darker and uses 202 so i do believe as the number gets higher, the darker the shade gets. so i would say that 199 is lighter than 200 :)

I beleive that 199 is actually some type of translucent and 200 is the fairest shade for real coverage. I use 201 and am pretty fair. I think that you will be good with 200. I hope this helps a little bit.

I LOVE this product, i'm a medium, occassionally an olive skintone! I have it in the warm beige, and it was flawless! So, perhaps try the same shafe, or go a shade darker...and as one of the artists told me, if it's too light add some bronzer!

Yes. Use the liquid foundation first then use this as finishing powder. Just use a bit of it so it will not look cakey, try using a powder brush, and buff it around your face...blend it well! You can also carry this around in your purse for touch ups.

I prefer to use a makeup puff to apply this foundation. I don't really like the sponge that comes with the product.

We're using the same #203 duo mat and I find it too light too and I need more yellow undertone. I tried using #205 but it had more pink in it, then I tried #207 and it worked. Might work for you too. Give it a try, you can return it to Sephora anyway. Hope this helps!

I use 202 more yellow then pink. If you apply a thin layer its fine but when you start applying it more it will end up red and not matching with your neck to jaw.

Question
Duo Mat MUFE Foundation
I just recently bought this foundation at my local Sephora. I am impressed with the finish but I was wondering what can I do to first prep my skin? Since it's a powder, I feel that I need some type of liquid first before applying this on. The associate told me I could buy the foundation but I find that paying over $75 for foundation alone is very steep. could you please tell me if I need to buy the liquid or if this would be enough? I like medium to full coverage with a flawless, matte finish.

I would say you only need to layer it over a liquid foundation if you want fuller coverage. If you only want to prep the skin try a mouisturizer or primer before you apply this.

Honestly, one can use this alone or with a little foundation. I prefer to use it alone and it works. Try it and see how you like it.
