Is this oil-free & okay for acne prone skin?
I have skin with acne, and I try to use all oil-free products. I am pale, but I was hoping maybe this product would work?

Fresh products are really amazing. Though I dont have skin problems on my face, when i introduced this to my sister who usually breaks out with acne on her face, it went on smoothly on her skin and her make up looked immaculate with the primer. She is very happy I recommended it!

Yes when I get a breakout and don't feel like putting on a gallon of make up I use this product. it is light and loaded with vitamins that is soothing to my already

it is not oil free and made me look shiny. tart smooth operator (glowy) has a lot of shades if your pale and its also paraben and oil free but it just doesnt blend in so well.

I actually am struggling with recent acne as well (I'm now 35!), and this product is wonderful! It gives a little coverage...some scars, redness is actually not even visible when I wear it, and then I only use concealer...no foundation....I highly recommend it. Definitely not too greasy.

I have combination skin and it doesn't seem to cause any further breakouts. However, I too am also pretty fair skinned, and so the colour looks more like a foundation that's too dark as opposed to a "sunkissed bronzer". Nars Orgasm illuminator gives a nicer result and more bang for your buck.

I use this as a primer, it adds a bit of tan which is nice. I felt that my skin was dull looking, so I tried this out and i love it. I just got a 2nd one of these!

It's not really a tanner. Just adds natural color. I use a primer before I put this on.

You can use it as both, I use it at times on top of my foundation for a summer bronze glow just a little is needed for that look.

it had a different texture than a primer. It was more like a face cream. Kinda heavy and too much sparkle. didnt like it. I went with girl meets pearl by benefit ( if your looking for gold hue that is)

No SPF sorry you can top it off with a powder with SPF plus a moisturizer underneath is what I do

It doesn't have sunscreen so I wear it over my sunscreen which actually helps it go on nicer.

It has a tanner in it but its very light so you don't end up looking like a orange at all. It just give you a summer glow for that day washes off.

I put this on in the am before I go to my workout class. It doesn't really come off at all for me because it's so light. I'm not pouring buckets, but I definitely do sweat in class, a lot of times on my face too. But it's still on and I still have a glow when I leave class and run errands after. It definitely doesn't wipe off on your arm or hand or anything like a tinted moisturizer would.

I've used Fresh primers for about 5 years or more and I;ve never had a problem. Twilight or High noon, when i wore it through the scorching summers or after my gym workout (i like to look nice) it holds up just as you just applied it! I love them

Says it is free of synthetics, but I would check with a representative for exact ingredients if you have an allergy..........can't be too sure these days

It does not have SPF that I know of. I actually just bought a new moisturizer with high SPF (I have started using a retinol product at night so have to make sure I use SPF all day) so that I can wear this with it without putting on a ton of make up.

Must apply to the whole face??
I was wondering if every time you use this you must apply all over the face, or can you just blend it into the places where the sun hits naturally like the cheek bones, bridge on the nose...etc. Thanks!

Hi.
I have very very pale skin, so it would look fake if I only applied it to a small area - the contrast would be too great. However, if it's close to your skin tone, you might be able to get away with only using it in specific areas.

I have very pale skin,. We're on vacation at a beach resort. This has worked well because most everyone else is really bronzed. It didn't look unnatural. However, if I was at home, I'd use something that was lighter. You should go try a sample at Sephora, because you may find it works well for you. I was surprised when the consultant suggested it when I originally got it, but now, when we vacation at the beach, I always take this with me so that my pale skin doesn't make me stand out.

I have light/medium skin and it is almost too dark for me. So yes, I would say it is too dark for pale skin.

I have fair to medium skin tone and it does not make my skin orange whatsoever. I think that if your skin is very fair using a small amount may be just the hint of color that your skin needs. Just use sparingly until you get it right! Enjoy!

How should I use this?
I am confused as to whether i should use it as a primer, pre foundation, or final layer? I tried using it over concealer as a replacement for foundation, but it ended up taking all of the concealer off to reveal my acne-prone skin once again. any advice?

I use it right after moisturizer, instead of foundation. I don't prefer to wear foundation every day, so I use High Noon, plus concealer where I need it (acne, spots, under eyes). It gives a little color, evens me out a little...I really love it!

When I had this product demonstrated, the salesperson used it as a primer under the fresh brand umbrian clay liquid foundation. She did so because I had a lot of redness in my face that day, and using it as a primer cut the redness and helped the foundation match better. But I now use both these products separately and love them both. I use the Glow product when I don't want to bother with foundation. The box says you can layer it over foundation-I have not tried that but I think that's a good idea and will do so. I, too, have acne prone skin but these products don't make me break out.
