I used this product during my first pregnancy and had no stretch marks. My second child is 3 weeks old and I am still using the product. I only have a few stretch marks and I think that continuing to use the cream mill minimize or eliminate those. This cream is great.

I found it to be helpful but not a miracle worker. It made my skin feel very soft and smooth but the marks did not disappear completely. But the description says that it "helps REDUCE the appearance of stretch marks". It did help me reduce the appearance of mine. But I didn't use it with the expectation that they would vanish completely. I think maybe other people didn't like it because they used it with unreasonably high expectations. Nothing will completely get rid of stretch marks once they are there. Only cosmetic surgery can help that. But it's absurd to think that a lotion can cure the effects of such stress on the skin. Prevention is the key. So I would say if you know you are going to have a baby or try to lose a lot of weight, then start using this before your weight changes and use it diligently before, during and after the changes.

I would say no. I don't find that it really gets rid of stretch marks once they are there. It is better at preventing them if used before,during and after pregnancy. It does help to soften skin and may help a little with appearance but it will not make stretch marks go away. If you are looking for more of a treatment for existing stretch marks, I would use the Strivectin cream. Sephora sells it. It's a little pricey but it definitely has more of a visual impact than the Clarins one.

For me, this product helped reduced the appearance of existing stretch marks from pregnancy. It works best at preventing - but I would still try it if you already have them.

You will want to use it when your body is trying to "go back" to its normal shape as well - I would count on buying this three times during pregnancy and at least two times after pregnancy if you use it as directed.
