Hi there girls,no need to refrigerate is you don't want to.I would say if you tend to have puffiness,then when stored in your fridge,it would bring down the puffy eye;) I don't have that problem,but i do have sensitive eyes,also wear contacts,and i find that this makeup remover is very calming to the eyes.Maybe during hot summer months this would feel great in the fridge,hope this is hepful,thanks,Michelle

Hmm, if you Google the definition of hypo-allergenic, you'll see there are no guidelines for cosmetics companies to abide by. If they want to list something as hypo-allergenic, they can.
That being said, a quick look at other reviews tells me if you're hyper sensitive, skip this item. Usually, anytime something has a "cooling" effect, it's going to irritate skin. This item stung my eyes a wee bit when it got in because I hadn't wiped enough off before opening my eyes. For a wonderful, zero-irritation eye-makeup remover, try DHC's deep cleansing oil. It is amazing. (And yet I still try new products, sigh.)
