Questions & Answers for Buxom Buxom&reg Full-On™ Lip Polish

Question
I have blue eyes, brown hair and fair-medium skin, help me choose a color please?
As the question says I have blue eyes, brown hair and fair-medium skin.
I was thinking the colors Debbie, Destiny and Katie would look nice on me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I get these colors?

Try Dolly (everyone loves her!), Amber, Bunny, and Dani. Out of the ones you listed, I have Katie and would recommend it. It's a very sheer nude that gives just a touch of color to your natural shade. Try them all! I have tried many of the colors, and more often than not, they work. If you don't like the color at first, let it sit for a few minutes and check again. I've found that with some shades the color settles into your lips and takes on more of your natural color underneath. There have been a few that looked better after I let it sit for a minute, but most have stayed on exactly as they originally looked. Love them!

I think you might want to try Leslie. When you say your complexion is fair to medium, I do think you should give this color a try, especially if you are looking for something on the lighter side of pink. However, it is definitely not a baby pink - I think Katy would be closer to that color. Leslie also has just a little bit of a glimmer to it. I would not call it irridescent at all, though. I have dark brown hair with caramel highlights and hazel eyes leading to brown and a fair to light complexion and leslie looks good on me. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. Hope this helps.

I have the same coloration as you and I recently got Destiny. I think the color would work well on most skin tones because it's not heavily pigmented. Definitely give it a try!

Question
I'm usually a pink lip type of girl but I really want a variety of gloss. I have fair skin so too bright or bold looks tacky. What color should I get?
I want to find a color other than pink that won't make my fair skin stand out too much or make me look like an alien.

I also have fair skin and wanted something other than my usual pink, so I bought Tonya, which is hot pink. I thought it would look too dark, but it turned out lighter than I expected, and now it's my absolute favorite color. Oh, and it actually works with my fair skin and doesn't make me look like a ghost.

I wear fair in be, and agent 00 in tarte. I do not look very good in colors that are not on the pink side since I have pink skin. I tend to get washed out by nudes. My favorite colors in buxom are Dolly, Claire (diamond-glitter and shine), Kanani, love the new Tonya, Betty (great red for fair skin, sheer but enough color to be red not pink), love Gabby (if you want a darker lip look, but apply sparingly). In the winter I like Raquel, but I usually sheer it out with Crystal. Love Crystal. Was never a clear gloss person until I actually went for it and bought one. Now I use clear gloss more than I use colored gloss, except for in the summer time.

I like buxom dolly - just a little pink - makes your lips pop without them being the prime focus of your face (I too am fair skinned)

This is not sheer in my opinion. I would describe it as in-between sheer and opaque. Not super dark, but not super light either. Slight sparkle, can be worn day or night.

Question
how saturated is the color?
I have naturally darker lips (sort of a dark rose shade) with fair skin, brown hair and green eyes. I like to subdue my natural lip color, does this product have enough color to do so? Which color/s would you recommend for this purpose?

I had the same worries, but I winged it and bought Katie. It really covered my lips and the shine/shimmer reflected the light to make them look much lighter. I think any of their light colors would work as well as Katie, though, cuz they all have perfect saturation.

It's not very saturated, but it does have a lot of glitter, which might make your lips look lighter. I am fair with a medium natural lip color, and found it a perfect match for my complexion.

Looks like Bambi's being discontinued. It's listed under the Last Chance section on the Bare Escentuals website. The tingling lasts for a while, then eventually goes away. It's not my favorite feature of the product, but it really does plump your lips.

I have the same hair, skin, and eye colors, and I am in love with the color Katie. It's a bit more pink than in the pic, and it has a slight touch of peach that compliments my eye and skin color. Also, I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Hope this helps! : )

It's kinda hard to describe, but I would say a vanilla/caramel smell and taste. But I've only tried the Tonya, Katie, and White Russian ones, so I can't speak for them all.

I have found that the gloss really does plump my lips and it's in a very nice way. Doesn't look fake at all. Just gives a little bit of extra oomph to your lips, but nothing that's going to scream fake or plastic lips. You won't look like you just had surgery or collagen injections if that's what you're worried about. It's just the perfect amount of plump, not over the top.

Definitely not. I have really full lips and have been using this forever, and all it does is make your lips look a bit bigger, and when you take it off, your lips look the same.

DEFINITELY does not OVER plump. I say this because I didn't know it was a plumper when I bought it, and already have full lips, so I almost returned it.....it's just a nice tingly sensation that makes your lips feel a LITTLE more full...not fake or too big. Hope this helps!!!! :)

Question
My favourtie color!
What happened to my favourtie color, Isabella? I'm on my last tube.

I ordered three in March 2011, because the Canadianstore no longer carries the color. To my great disappointment, the US stores no longer carry it.

I'm very unhappy with the with the reduced color-line.

Usually they have an end cap in the store with the nail polishes that are on sale. My store normally has them by the register. If it is on sale online it is in the store, unless already sold out. Call ahead and see if they have them. :)

I.m not sure if krystal has been discontinued but april or celeste has the sparkle and very sheer pink color. I just bought celeste and the lip gloss is so much more long lasting than it used to be also there is a color called cheesecake that is white sparkle but the newer formula is so much better
