No, I wouldn't say it gets rid of lines. However, I always use BE's Lip Rev-er Upper first all over my lips including the lines. Then I line with BE's Nude Lipliner (perfect - goes with any color) and fill in my lips as if I was applying a lipstick and then top with gloss. Perfect and really lasts!

Lip lines being those little wrinkles in lips? Mine does... my lips look very smooth and full when I am wearing my lip gloss. Especially when I really layer it on (like I love to do... no wonder I am on my 6th tube!).

I'd have to say yes because it does hydrate your lips quite well. It isn't dry and sticky like lipstick. It glides on easily, but you will have to re-apply after eating or drinking, but it's worth it. It's an excellent product!!

...think of it as a cosmetic that helps, rather than solve the lip line problem. I recommend using a base product such as the bareVitamins Lip Rev-er Upper to help prevent bleeding & feathering of color, then the Buxom gloss. (add a nude or brown lip liner to dress up your look)

Hi...No it does not "get rid" of lip lines, but it does plump the lips. Try using the Bare Essentials "Lip Rev-er Upper" first, then layer with this plumping gloss. The Lip Rev-er Upper "will" help smooth your lip lines & lips!!
Hope this helps.

It does hydrate the lips and help it took slightly more plumped up (nothing drastic of course). For lip lines, I would have to say that it can help somewhat. But, I do advise your using the Buzz Latte first, as this is a much better product to keep your lips and the skin around your lips conditioned and to help minimize lines around the mouth.

Hope this helps! Also, I do suggest your using a lip liner along with the Buxom Lip Polish. As, it will ensure that the lip gloss doens't migrate, okay.

I wouldn't say it helps with lip lines, however it doesn't bleed out like regular lipsticks do. If you will use a lip liner first and then apply the Buxom Lips you should't have any problems. Trust me, I'm a smoker and I know lip lines, but I don't really notice them when I apply as I suggested to you.

If by lip lines you mean the lines around the outside of your natural lip line, I'd say no. If you mean does it minimize the appearance of the natural verticle creases on your lips, yes. It does not, however, eliminate them through plumping.

I have found that it does improve the appearance of fine lines on the lips ... my guess would be because it hydrates the lips and is infused with minerals. Also, it protects your lips from drying out because of harsh environmental conditions like harsh cold winds or just dry air.

I do not think it "gets rid" of liplines. It is super glossy and gives your lips a great tingle. The plumping effect looks visible, but it might just be from the high gloss and tingly effect. Either way, I love it.

White Russian Lip Cream is my suggestion for the perfect nude. I find it's not completely sheer but just a tad milky which I love for a change. Also no shimmer which I wish was the case with more shades. It can always be added. Also Pink Lady looks very bright but I find it's like a cool, super light pink nude on. Could be perfect on fair skin. I know you asked for gloss but if you haven't tried the Lip Creams, they are a bit different. You may love them.

If your goal is SOME color in a shade that is natural and isn't stark or overwhelming on fair (or light) skins, I suggest the following:
LOLA (pinkish beige) , MUDSLIDE (muted pink - to find see new Buxom formulation), and DANI (sheer mauve berry). I can't wear
strong colors -at all- and some of the lightest Buxom colors are too white. I choose btwn the above based on my clothing

What do you mean by fair? A color example of foundations you wear would make it easier for people answering to recommend. I wear be fair, tarte fair/agent00 for reference. I love buxom. It is my favorite gloss. I have had some wins and losses though. I rarely look good in nude lips. I will say that if a nude works on me, it works on almost everyone. One of my favorite nudes is a bare escentuals lipstick in bavarian cream. I will give you the run down of what has worked for me and what has not, and you can compare. Dolly and claire are my two favorite shades. Your lips but better. Dolly has a hint of plum to it, but very very wearable. Claire is a mauve, but softly mauve. Not harsh or aging. I love tonya, not nearly as scary as it looks in person or online as most buxoms are quite sheer. I love tonya on my skin tone, a hint of a pop of pink. Kanani gives a soft pink to the lips, gorgeous and I love it. If you avoid color, and are fair, kanani is an excellent introduction into color. Kandi is not straight berry as described, it is a bit like strawberry mixed with orange. I can wear kandi, but I do not love it as it is too orange on me. Star is a raspberry with micro glitter. Looks great on me. I recommend it to dolly enthusiasts all the time. April was a pale pink, just not for me. It washed me out, as it was too pale. Katie another pale pink that washed me out because it was too pale. Sarina or sabrine was a beige nude, it looked next to clear on my lips. I would buy it again to use as a clear gloss with shimmer. Bunny was too pale on me and washed me out. Dani is a pale pink with a hint of lavender, a hint. Very soft and pretty on pale or light skin tones. Leslie is a soft peachy pink pearl, but is still nude. Highly recommend if you are fairly light to medium, but if you wear fair it may wash you out. Betsy is a full color, a soft rosey pink. It is the only full color I like. Betty is a red, blue based. I love it for days when I do not have time for makeup. I instantly look put together when I wear betty. Raquel is a full color, dark rose with shimmer. I need a dot of this and then I blend it in with crystal (the clear). Lolita is just like raquel without the shimmer. Again I only need a dot and then blend it out with crystal. Those were just the colors I have tried off the top of my head. Iknow there is more. I would recommend sarina or sabrina, and leslie for nudes, dolly and claire for those who find nudes impossible.

I'm fair and I love Amber and any of the pale pinks. Amber gives a tiny tint of color that's very natural and the pale pinks just give a brightening effect. My best friend is fair and she enjoys Dolly. And I've heard a lot of good things about Sandy as well. I don't find any of the colors have too intense of color unless you buy the full color version. So, just get the colors you find are pretty :)

I was going to Suggest Dolly or Sugar as well. I tested both in the store and was pleasantly surprised. It is a light beige with a hint of pink and some shimmer. It's like Stila's kitten eyeshadow but a tad pinker and lip gloss. : ) and will pair nicely with almost any pink, mauve, beige or bare lipcolor.

Hi there!

I hope I'm in time to tell you about Buxom's Sugar (original/ rose beige)
This is """hands-down""" the most beautiful Nude for fair skin.
Wow, I promise you that!
You may already have noticed Sugar is mentioned highly in reviews...
No one calls it a Rose ("it's a far cry from rose") but I guess the mixture of
Beige & Light Rose makes this shimmery Nude so pretty & perfect.
You had asked about:
Sandy (original/ pink nude)
Sandy is more of a simple shimmer than having any color.
But Sugar is Beautifully Perfect for a Light Shimmery Nude.

I Love BE's Buxom's and own 7 colors & the diamond set...
But one thing anyone will tell you, is "all colors are lighter on, than they appear on the swatches."
No doubt, you "will love Sugar!!"

HI! I love Dolly. I also have black hair and brown eyes. My skin tone is light though, but I think that Dolly would look good on you too. The best bet is for you to go into Sephora or even Bare Essentials if you have one close by, and try on the different colors.

Try Brandi, Trixi or Candi. Candi is my fav its a light pink and it looks pretty natural just a hint of pink. it's not as bright as it looks in the bottle. i have dark brown hair dark brown eyes and medium skin tone and Candi looks great on me so i figure you may like it too.

It would really depend on what colors you like if you're going for a red, I'd recommend Brandi, for a more neutral look, I like Dolly. Of course, my opinion could be way off from what you like.

I would recommend Bianca. It's the first one I bought and I love it. It looks good on me (I'm very fair, blonde and blue eyes). When I put it on my mom it looked just as good,(she's medium to dark skin, green eyes and dark brown/grey hair). We are total opposites in skin, hair and eye color but Bianca worked on both of us. I have Dolly and Candi too, but I am always grabbing Bianca because it goes with everything.

It is a lip gloss, but it also plumps lips as well as a lip plumer, naturally. I have medium lips, but this product makes them look very full.

Yes, but it's not crazy or painful like the lip venom, and it doesn't stay plumped after you take it off.

Its NOT your typical "plumper" that burns your lips, turns them bright red, and only lasts a few minutes. It is a gloss that makes your lips look plump without all those harsh effects. The gloss does have a little cool tingly feeling when you put it on, but itsnot bad at all. This is an AMAZING product! I have very sensitive skin and Buxom is a must have for me. You should definately try it!!

I have similar coloring, and I absolutely love Katie and Bunny. Katie's a really sheer pink, almost a nude. Bunny is a lovely pink that has a touch of peach in it.

Can't go wrong with Dolly, a plummy-berry shade. Amber is awesome for a nuder lip as is Bunny, a very innocent nude. My other fave is Dani, not as natural or nude, but a beautiful icy light pink.

If your looking for a peachy shade I'd recommend the color: destiny or if your looking for a pink shade I'd recommend the color: melonie( sheer fuschia). They'd both look gorgeous on you. Hope this helps you decide.

Some of the colors have a hint of sparkle... but not all of them. If you look at the preview of colors online, the solid colors have no sparkle. The colors that have a slight sheen do contain sparkle. Hope this helped!

As most reviewers commented, this gloss creates a cooling, tingly sensation that I really enjoyed. The one side-effect I noticed was a that when it was cold out, or really windy, or I drank somethign cold, my lips were absolutely freezing.

I used Too Faced Lip Injection, and Lip Injection Extreme, and the feeling was very uncomfortable, especially with the second one-the redness was all over my lips, horrible. With Janson Beckett BeautiFull Lips lip plumper I got more red lips, minimal sting, but it dried out my lips very bad. Buxom is the best lip plumper so far, tingles just a bit, hydrate lips, stays long, and shine. I love it!

I have very sensitive lips and skin that are highly allergic, and have never experienced any side effects from this product. The plumping action is minimal, and the gloss is more cooling than anything. It's nothing even close to DuWop Lip Venom or Tarte Rise and Shine, and should be fine for nearly everyone.

I've never experienced any side effects. This lipgloss, I believe, is great. Its a little tingly and gives off a cooling sensation, not hurtful at all like other lip plumpers can be. Everyone is different but I think you'll be fine :)

What color do you recommend for me?
Hi - I have dark brown hair with warm lowlights and dark blonde highlights, green eyes, and fair to medium skin (depending on the time of year). I recently ordered Buxom lips in Trixie and like the color, but I would like to try a shade that is a bit darker. What would you recommend? Thanks!

I would probably go with the "Isabella" color of the buxom lips lip gloss. From what you said your skin tone is, sounds like it's the same as mine, you should be able to get away with wearing pretty much any color. =)

You can almost everything, they really sheer. If you like plum colors try those dark shades, if you more earthy than browns. I personally would go with either Dolly, Candy, Bianca (the best is to try at the store and go outside with the mirror to compare look in natural and artificial light).
