Does this Sting??

I am currently using Clinique's Advanced Stop Signs eye cream with SPF 15. I love it because it contains SPF, but it really stings. I was wondering if anyone experienced the same with this one before I purchased it.

No! This product doesn't sting. I was really worried about that also. My only complaint is that the cream is a little thick (due to all the SPF), but I think that the thickness actually helps hold my eye shadow in place.

No stinging with this product thus far. I have sensitive skin. I used "all about the eyes" for a couple eyes and in general I think most other eye creams I have tried since work and feel better then Clinique.

This doesn't really sting so much as adhere like a cement. The product is a micronized zinc oxide, which shouldn't give you a reaction. It does feel nice- but it stays and takes some effort to remove. I do not think it bleeds or runs into the eyes at all. Once you put it on it stays!

Makeup goes on great over this. I actually put urban decay primer on top of this and then my bare minerals eyeshadows. I have oily lids and have had no problem with creasing or running. I use the b.e. eye brightner under my eyes and the finish is pretty matte.

yes you can. just make sure you put a thick enough foundation to prevent your eyes looking oily, unless if you're aiming for a dewy look. laura mercier has a no shine powder that i normally use in conjuction with the spf to prevent the shine.

No, I have fount that the creme doesn't help dark circles. I think it's main purpose is to prevent sun damage, and it has more SPF than any other eye cream I have found. it is definitely a good buy for the summer. it doesn't sting the eye and helps hold eye make-up in place, although it is a little thick due to the SPF.

No. It's really only intended as an SPF for the eye area. It does brighten a little bit because it's so white and thick. If you have dark circles you'll still need a concealer because this will not hide them that much. If you want something for puffiness and dark circles I hear lancome's new genifique eye cream works great. Haven't tried it though

I didn't buy it for that purpose. I wanted a suncreen for the eye area and if it helped with fine lines then wonderful! I have mild under eye circles occasionally from lack of sleep and it does help to brighten the area but I don't believe it treats them. The lotion has just the slightest bit of shimmer in it to brighten, so in that case it will reduce the appearance of them but just in the short term while wearing the cream. I didn't notice any effect on puffiness.

I pat this right under my eye, out to the sides and up over my eyebrow area. I use the same application with my night eye cream and it has really helped the lines around my eyes.

I place this on the eyebrow bone (under the eyebrow) and underneath the eyes. It is a zinc- so it's safe to put on the eyelids- but it may feel like a lightweight mask- this stuff sticks to the skin and can be a base for eyeshadow. Removal is best with a greasy emollient eye make-up remover.

This is probably not ideal for babies. A sunscreen with all mineral ingredients such as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide would be better for young children. A hat's good too-if the baby will wear it.

You have to use it over your regular eye cream. And no it won't lose it's SPF. It's the same concept as using sunscreen over your regular face moisturizer, serum, primer, etc.

Is it SPF 32? or what does it mean 32 PA++ ?
I live in Colorado in mountains and I am looking for some good protection for my eye area. Also I might be interesting in your Benefiance Concentrated Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream ... This has an SPF 32 rating. The SPF is the rating for UVB protection and PA is the rating for UVA protection. The "+++" PA rating is the greatest UVA protection (it is rated from one plus sign, up to three plus signs). UVA rays are the rays that cause photo-aging, while UVB rays are responsible for sunburn.
