The only thing that legitimately helps for dark circles is plastic surgery and/or fillers. Anything that's applied topically simply can't absorb into the deeper layers of the skin to make any marked difference. That said, it's a great moisturizing product for the under eye area.

I just posted a review which addresses this, dated 3-27-11. The short answer is no, I don't think it helps dark circles or puffiness and it is also very greasy. I honestly think it is just for wrinkles and very dry skin, so probably a product for older women or prematurely aged skin from tanning.

If you have dark circles I wouldnt recommend this cream. As with most undereye creams, it gives you a slightly darker hue under the eye as it is, so you will just add to the problem. Look at Murad. They have an eye cream that is supposed to brighten the eye area, although I have not tried it. I trust Murad and so I would think it will do what it says. good luck!

For dryness and lines it is wonderful. Puffiness it works for too. I don't have dark circels that bad so I can't really answer that question honestly. What I can say is try it for 2 weeks and if you don't like it you can take it back. At least that is what the sales girl said at the store I go to. :)

You have to use specially formulated products for anything *above* the eye. Never use regular eye crème on eyelids. Ever.
Try Perricone Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum. His products are amazing although expensive-- they are effective.

No OTC product will "lift" the skin above your eyes. Our skin naturally sags as we age & short of cosmetic surgery, there's nothing much we can do about it. However, the upside is that if your eyelid area sags to the point that it interferes w/your vision, your insurance company might pay for a lid lift as medically necessary. I used to work for an ophthalmologist, so I know.

You will see immediate superficial results. Your skin will become immediately softer, shinier (do not use this as part of your a.m. routine), and less lined. Over time, you will notice your dark circles have faded a bit, your lines are less deep, and the over all moisture content of your skin has dramatically improved. If the skin under and around your eyes is very dry, this product is for you.

I'm not sure as to the type of results you're looking for but as for radiance, you definitely notice that immediately. I'm 27 and no eye wrinkles so I may not be example (it was a free sample) but I can see how its undertones mask wrinkles. As for removing them...wrinkles areas of the skin that have lost or reduced elasticity and the only thing that corrects that is exercise (which you obviously cannot do underneath your eyes) and corrective surgery. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this...and try the Prevage as well.

Dark circles under the eyes can't be fixed w/any OTC product. They're either hereditary (concentration of melanin - pigment - in the skin) or sometimes temporary (not enough sleep, excessive use of alcohol/controlled substances). There are OTC products that lighten age spots, but you wouldn't want to use them anywhere near your eyes.

I feel you. Sounds like you're looking for a 2-in-1 cream, something that will moisturinze your fragile eye area but also smooth your lines. It ain't gonna happen with this cream. I've been using it for months and my fine lines are still there and I have fine little ones. I'm looking for something that will make a difference. But it does hydrate, but so does your good ol moisturizer if you focus it lightly under the eye. Not worth it.

I am 24, and I have been using this product for 2 years now. I tanned a lot in high school, plus I laugh a lot, so I was starting to crease at the corners of my eyes. I read rave reviews about this product and I decided to drop the money and try it out. Best beauty decision I ever made. The lines have long since vanished, and it is ultra moisturizing. However, a little goes a long way, so don't over-apply. I say BUY IT. You won't regret! :) I hope this helps! xoxo

So you say you have some darkness under the eye, huh? well, be aware that most eye wrinkle creams tend to give you a slightly darker hue under the eye. There is something about the ingredient in them that will do this. If you are looking for a starter wrinkle cream (and this is a great time to start at your age) then I would look to trying one of Murad's eye creams. This one will not fight against fine lines, trust me, I've used it. Plus, do you really want to pay this much every month for just hydration? because that's about all it does...

Yes this product will be fine for you especially if you are already seeing fine lines. As the description states this product includes "Chlorella (plant extract), which counteracts the development of future wrinkles". So although you may only have a few fine lines this product will aid in the prevention of future wrinkles. I am 20 and have been using this product for months and i love how it makes my under eye skin feel more hydrated , radiant, and firm. Overall i believe this would be a wonderful product for your situation.

if i understand your question, you would want your money back if this stuff doesn't work? i don't think you can return it if you have finished the bottle..but sephora does have a really super return policy so i guess you can try.

I think it would be, but your skin should be very dry as this is very greasy. See my review of 3-27-11 if you want more of what I thought of it.

If you have overly dry skin in your eye area then this is definitely the cream for you. As I stated in my review of the product, hydration is what it primarily does - but it does not deliver in minimizing your fine lines.

I had a sample of this (.2 oz) and have been using it since then. It's the only I cream I used that moisturizes under my eyes. Everything else when I apply it's great but when I wash my face the next morning I'm left with very dry wrinkly skin. Since I started using this I have seen significant improvement. I'll be buying a full size soon. One additional note thought : It' very rich for day time use under make up. I'm only using at night and I use Lancome renergie during the day.

Yes !!!! My skin is super sensitive and most eye creams leave me burning and stinging ! I have a sample of this and am ready to splurge and buy full size ! It dramatically moisturizes, soothes, brightens and reduces and eliminates lines and wrinkles, I have tried at least 15 different sample eye creams, due to sensitivity and this one is good for any dry under the eye skin

As with most eye creams, it is recommended that you use it all over your eye. Whenever I apply eye cream, I think of a raccoon eye and try to cover that whole part but primarily focusing on the undereye area. When I'm done covering the eye with a little cream, I pat in a slightly more generous portion under the eye.

I use it all over my lid but be careful that beeing so rich/greasy your make-up might not last very long. I just use a very very small amount and make sure it is absorbed before using make-up on.

Yes. However, I would not use this all over the eyelid before wearing eye makeup. This is a product that is best used at night as it tends to be greasy.

I use it all over the lid, but be careful not to go up over brow. The rich formula could cause a breakout.
