Question
Is this moisturizer to be used under make-up?
I was wondering if the Lorac oil-free tinted moisturizer was intended to be used under make-up or just alone?

on ProtecTINT™ SPF 30 - Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer
answer 1
You can wear it alone or under another foundation or power. The SA actually did my face with the ProtecTINT first and the LORAC Wet/Dry Foundation power on top.

the salesgirl gave me this because i needed a moisturizer and something to cover up the red. i don't like to feel like i have a lot of makeup on and this is lightweight. it's tinted so i used it as a foundation. i was told i wouldn't need one that this would do the trick. hope this helps.

Lorac ProtecTINT SPF 30 Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer is a mixture of a moisturizer, sunscreen and liquid foundation in one. Yes, it may be smoothed under makeup, but it provides sheer coverage to even out your skintone if used on bare skin. If you prefer fuller coverage, use it under makeup. Yet, if you prefer sheerer coverage, utilize it on its own.It is a good product if you desire to minimize your time in the morning by utilizing a multipurpose product.

I think it's meant to be used alone. It's definitely sheer though, so if you're looking for more coverage you might consider Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer.

answer 7
it can be used either way, but i've found that it is best alone with a little bit of powder. makes for great coverage that lasts.

I use this even if it's the only thing I'm putting on. When I have pimple, I'll put this on and then use a light powder over it, but this product is so light weight it never causes problems with my skin.

answer 10
If you use this under make-up, make sure it is a very light, sheer make-up. I think it works fine alone, but the coverage is very sheer, so you may want to add a little more coverage with a very light foundation.

I personally need to spot treat my under eyes and a few blemishes, but besides that, I do think it can be used alone. I also apply a thin layer of mineral powder just to tie it all together and give my skin a truly flawless and never over done look.

for me, I use it as my foundation for daytime use; provides a light coverage. For a more heavy coverage (going out at night), I do use something heavier.

answer 15
I use mine under my mineral make-up and it doesn't look too heavy at all.

If you feel you need a foundation, I would use this first, then use your foundation. I, however, don't use foundation and just use this. I really love it.

You don't wear it under foundation, you wear it alone. It's good if you need light coverage. If you're looking for something like a foundation this wouldn't work for you.
