Questions & Answers for Anthony Logistics For Men Ingrown Hair Treatment

Does this product work well for women who get Brazilians? I tend to get ingrown hairs often on bikini area. Trying to find THE perfect product that helps with this problem.

This can def help! I've been using this on my legs and (recently my brazilian too) and it definitely has worked miracles on my legs!

The only thing is that you have to be a religious user. It took me about 2-3 bottles to start seeing miraculous results on my legs and so I expect the same on my brazilian.

Exfoliate every day and apply this product & it will definitely work!! & since it is for your bikini area, you probable won't need much (one pump probably), making this last for a solid 2 months! It dries quickly, feels cool and its scent isn't "manly" either.

Make sure you moisturize too! It's super important because dryness & tight clothes is what makes your skin ideal for ingrowns.

DEF WOULD RECOMMEND THIS THOUGH!

I used this product for ingrowns on my legs. My hair is very course and that is what caused the problem in the first place. Since the hair "down there" is also very course, I would guess that it would work quite well. It also treats pre-existing red bumps. It's a soothing gel with a slightly cooling effect. Does not have a very strong scent either. Would recommend you try it.

Yes it does, at least in my case it worked wonders. I also get brazilians and use this to prevent ingrown hairs. Used Tend skin and Art of Shaving without any results, this is definitely the one I'm sticking with. It might also help to exfoliate the areas you remove hair from once or twice a week, I've always done it ever since I had my dermatologist suggest it. Check out the other line's products, I have switched to this line from a lot of my previous women's brands, AL is simply amazing!

I would imagine it would work well for women as the skin in "that area" is sensitive and this treatment is generally for people with sensitive skin. I will let you know that when you apply this product first thing after shaving, it does sting. But the stinging usually goes away within 15 to 30 seconds and let's be honest- beauty isn't painless :)

Not sure about that, the product does tingle when I use it on my face, and sometimes it can a little intense, but I enjoy that feeling cause it also tightens while it tingles...not so sure how that would feel 'down there'.

You definitely need to give this product a try. Like you, I've been in a constant battle with ingrown hairs along the bikini line. I started using this treatment twice a day - once in the morning, once at night. Now, I just use it once a day. I've tried everything on the market, and this is the ONLY thing that works for me. Bonus: A little bit of product goes a very long way : )

It might? The ingredients are very effective at preventing/treating ingrown hairs. I would assume since it is made for a man, it would work well on thicker hair "down there." My only concern would be the smell. It definitely has a "man" smell. It smells nice on a man, but may not be what you are looking for. There is a product called "The Afterglow," which is made by Philosophy. I don't believe they sell it on Sephora. It is not as effective for ingrown hairs on a man, but may be effective for you. It does not really have a scent at all.

Its an aftershave gel so it has moisturizing properties with aloe and witch hazel to soothe your skin after a shave. Leaves the skin feeling kinda tight afterward, not greasy at all because its in gel form.

answer 2
Both. It's more of a gel formula with glycolic and salicylic acid.

It dries quickly but after I put it on, I do follow it up with some kind of lotion moisturizer! However, I can't say its completely a cleanser because the gel formula acts a little sticky at first, then moisturizes throughout the day.

answer 3
Neither, It is meant to be put on clean, dry skin as a means to slough off dead surface skin which can lead to ingrown hairs.

No, it is to be applied to any area that is affected by in grown hairs. You may need extra moisturizers if your skin is really dry.

answer 5
No, this product is neither. It is solely for use on in grown hairs. I usually shave, do a toner, then this product, then a moisturizer. I've had good results so far.

Neither one, and both at the same time. This is not a stand alone cleansing product or moisturizer, but it aims to impart moisture and prevents ingrown hairs by keeping hair follicles clean. Used in addition with a Facial Cleanser and toner, this product will prevent ingrown and keep skin moisturized, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

More like a toner. You put it on clean dry skin. Feels nice after shaving, leaves my legs smooth, but it is not a moisturizer.

I don't consider this to be a cleanser OR a moisturizer. It's a treatment. It works at treating and preventing ingrown hairs. It isn't drying like TendSkin but I wouldn't depend on this alone for a moisturizer.

I would say it is a moisturizer because you put it on after cleansing. It does make the skin softer, but so far it has been ineffective in correcting my son's problems with ingrown hair.

Though I am not of African American descent, it does say on the label that it is great for ethnic clients who are more prone to ingrown hair. Hope that is helpful

I can only tell you that I am a white woman with extremely course hair on my legs and that was probably the cause of the ingrown hair in the first place. My guess is that it would be very helpful for an African American man. Particularly since your beard is probably not as course as the hair on my legs. It works and it has a nice, subtle tingly effect.

This product is excellent for African American skin. I have tried them all and others are very harsh, or overly drying...causing the skin to be scaly and require scrubbing every few days which could further irritate the skin, exacerbating the problem. But this stuff, is GREAT! It doesn't dry, it soothes and it WORKS! Im an African American guy who has seen brothers with flawless skin and beards and often wondered, how do they do it?? Well...

This product is targeted to men.
Yes it works on African American Skin. We are of African descent and my husband as extremely course hair. He has suffered with in grown hair for many years. I bought this for him at Christmas just to give it a try and we were pleasantly surprised at the results. Now he can't live without it !
