You can use it with anything really. I used it with my foundation. Concealer. Eyeshadow. Blush. Even setting powder(didn't work well because I got way too much shimmer). It really makes whatever you use it with stays there. Remember to remove it good at night. It's harder to remove.

AquaSeal isn't a concealer. It's a transparent liquid that you mix with eye shadow if you want to use the shadow as an eyeliner. Or you can use AquaSeal on top of your eyeliner to make it last longer.

Yes!, but a little goes a long way so be careful. The first time I used it, I put 3-4 drops on the tip of my brush. It wasn't enough to make ti drippy...just a little soggy I suppose. Anyway, there was still liner on my brush and when I went to apply my soggy brush to my eye, I didn't realize that the Aqua Seal would reactivate the liner and ended up with a mess on my eye that was fairly difficult to remove. It sounds stupid, but I don't think that I'm the only one this has happened to. Good luck and enjoy

Yes! Definitely!!! It only make the eyeshadow appear on your eyes EXACTLY like the color in the palette. Make dark a LOT darker and shimmer shine. Just try it on your hand before you put it on your eyelid. PLEASE! Wash your brush after!

Nope, didn't work for me. It sealed the color, but it also smudged the color together. Also, it clump my eyeshadow powder together because I had to dip my brush on this product first and then to my eyeshadow powder. So I had to throw part of my eyeshadow away because it got stick together and can't be used anymore.

I've only used this on my eyes and it appears that it dries matte. Well, not really matte...more like it dries to whatever to look like whatever your eyes looked like before you put on the Aqua Seal. I hope that helps.

It is pretty matte on my eyelids. I have hooded eyes that is on the oily side. I was not disappointed.

It is matte, but it is not drying. It kind of works like a liquid plastic seal to the liner. I have found that when I take off my makeup, the liner comes off as if it was a sticker, or like when you take off false lashes. I also didn't find that it kept the makeup on any longer. Maybe lightly coating the brows it would work, but for regular eyeliner I wouldn't bother with it, or at least I haven't found a way to use it that makes much of a difference.

Question
Does the MUFE eye seal work well on the cream shadows?
I have many of the flash cream colors and am having trouble with creasing. I currently use the benefit eyeshadow primer, it works well with powder but not cream.

I tried using the MUFE Eye Seal with cream shadows and pencils. It does stays on but may smudge a bit. Doesn't dry completely like when using powedered shadow. I found if you use your cream shadow with the seal, then apply a thin layer of powder shadow over it you don't have the smudging.

I use it to set my pencil eyeliner (top and bottom) and it lasts all day. Smudge and water proof. I use the end of a Q-tip to apply. Use only a tiny drop. It''s enough for both eyes.

Question
Can this be used on the water line(inner lash line)?
I use powder and pencil to line the inner rims of my eyes and was wondering if this would be safe to use on that area.

I would not recommend to use it on the inner rim of your lids - this is very sticky seal and you wouldn't be able to remove it safely. I recommend to use it only above the upper lash line and below the lower lash line.

No, you dip your brush into a little liquid that you have dropped onto a surface. I just used the back of my hand. Then put your wet brush into the eyeshadow to use as a liner.

Should work like a charm with liquid eye liner, just be sure to let the liner dry first for about a minute or so before applying Eye Seal.

Question
What kind of brush is recommended to use with this?
i used a flat fine brush, but that didn't seem to work to seal on my pencil eyeliner - in fact, it looked kinda oily and seem to melt/smear the eyeliner. i think i might be using the wrong brush/wrong technique.

drexalia - I read your review about the eye seal by Makeup Forever. I also ONLY use eyeshadow as my liner, and my little trick to keep it set ALL DAY is to use a black eyeliner first on upper and lower lash lines, then with a small angled brush, apply shadow on top. You will be AMAZED!!!! Even if you use the same shadow on the rest of your eye, the black eyeliner will enhance the shade to give a slight contrast and will not show thru. Hope you read this and it helps. - - Jersey Girl 4ever!

Question
waterproofing makeup
Has anyone tried using this over their mineral face powders to make it water proof? I know it says "eye seal" but it also says it can waterproof all powdery makeup and pencils. Any help would be great :)

I have water proofed my mascara and all eye products with this, but not my entire face makeup. You could try it, but you would no longer be using a mineral type makeup as it seems it would convert it to a very thin type of liquid makeup. I do not feel it would be the best use of this product. All of your eye makeups are worth a try, but the face I would not. But there are quite a few waterproof makeups out there for face and body. MAC has one and so does MakeUp Forever - and I am sure there are others I would check those out. As mixing this with a mineral makeup would decrease it's coverage and the look of the makeup itself.
