does the fragrance change drastically as time passes?
some reviewers mentioned that at first the smell is fresh and citrusy, but, as the day goes on, the more musky notes overpower. is this true?

Yes, that's true. The top notes are more the lemon, clary sage, tarragon stuff - it smells quite fresh and citrusy at first, but the base notes are the sycamore, amber, and cedar leaves stuff, so it grows woody and musky. It's a really awesome musk, though; it smells quite masculine and wonderful.

No, it does not change to a musky scent at all. It stays fresh on my man all day. I love it !

There is a subtle change, but nothing drastic. It smells amazing whether it has just been put on or if it has been on all day!
