Im still learning to put them on. To take them off they peel off, so just go from your inner corner of your eye and peel it off slowly so you dont rip out your own natural eyelashes.

They are actually very easy to put on and take off. I recommend that you check out tutorials on YouTube

If you are just starting it is easiest to do the "strip" lashes. Find a set that has as full and fairly long lashes as possible, BUT aslo look for a set with a clear or thin base (the part you would stick to your lid). If it has a thick, black base it will be pretty obvious you are wearing fake lashes.
Use the glue that comes with the lashes (make sure to get a set that has glue!) or buy eyelash glue. Trim lashe to size if needed. Run the glue tube down the base of one of the lashes, try to use very little glue - too much will run, smudge and take longer to dry. Then, close eye and stick as close to lashes as possible (going from outside in has best results; try not to stick to actual lashes). Check placement of lashes in mirror, make adjustments quickly, and let sit for about 30 seconds to dry in place. Simply pull from one end to another to release.
*Hint: Curl eye lashes apply mascara BEFORE applying fake lashes. They will blend better and putting mascara on fake lashes is not good for them.
**Make sure ends of lashes are firmly down. They are usually the first to come "un-stuck" and will look and feel bad.

You can hold them with a pair of tweezers at one end and then, once laid in place, use an 'orange stick' to gently tap them down securely into place.

youtube has great videos on how to apply false lashes. this is how I learned. I wear them everyday and it takes me less time to put them on then it does to do masacra. I still have to do the mascara because my lashes are blonde.

I would recommend the individual lashes rather than a strip. They are more time consuming to put on, but they are easier to put in the right places and if one comes loose, you don't lose your whole lashline.
They come with instructions, but basically, you put the tiniest bit of glue on them (included) and let it dry for 20-30 seconds, so it is stickier, then you place them as close to the lashline as possible. It is sometimes easier with tweezers, because the lashes can stick to your fingers.
A lot of people use an eyelash curler, to give all of your lashes (real and fake) the same curl, and blend them in. I just apply mascara over mine and it does fine.

I wear false eyelashes just about every single day. I keep each pair I buy for months. There are rules however....
1. Never sleep in them. Think of them as your "pearls" they are the last thing you put on and the first thing your remove in the makeup process.
2. Quick and simple application can be achieved by using the eyelash clip (Sephora sells it.) Makes application ridiculously easy - I promise!
3. Removal must occur with either an oil based makeup remover or baby oil. Apply a saturated tissue to the eyelash (eyes closed) and they come off with ease.
4. preservation. Carefully hold each lash with one hand and with the other use your fingernails to remove the glue buildup so they are ready to be used again!
Remember - practice makes perfect, breathe, and be patient.

I YouTubed the 'how to use false lashes' and watched videos that put glue on the lash or glue on the eyelid. I guess it's a personal preference but all the videos were helpful, I'd recommend watching one or two, b/c everyone has their own tips and preferences.

First, you apply the glue to the seam of the lashes and wait about ten seconds for it to get tacky. Then, you press them gently against your upper lid starting from the outside in applying them as close to the lash line as you can get them. Next, check the edges to make sure they are firmly in place. After that, cut down any parts of the lashes that are radically longer than your eyes (unless you are going for a more dramatic look for stage makeup or something). Put a little mascara on and you are done! It can take a few times to get the hang of it, so practice before you plan to wear them.
If the lashes are properly applied they should last for hours. I once worked an eight hour shift in retail and my lashes were still firmly in tact when I got home, so I am sure that you won't have any problems.

I use a tweezer to hold the lashes. After applying the glue (it comes with the lashes), I wait a few seconds and to use it. I think it's easier when you "pull" the skin with your fingers. Use your index finger next to the brow and the middle finger next to the eye. I recomend to wait the glue to dry before anything. To get a more natural look, apply mascara and eyeliner.

first clean your eye area, pat down dry. put the lashes on before you apply the rest of your eyemakeup.Your lashes will adhere better if there is no makeup greasing up on your skin. before you apply the lashes curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Then, remove a lash from the plastic tray. Next, play around with the placement of the lash to see where on your lash line it appears the most attractive. After that apply a medium coat of the eyelash adhesive with the eyelash adhesive wand across the upper adhesive lash line. Then allow the adhesive to set for a minute to become tacky. Next, do the same with the other lash. After you have both lashes ready. you can use tweezers to lift the lash and place it down just a smidgen above your lash line. press the lash down with your hand for 2 mins. next for ultimate staying power use mascara to adhere the false lash to your natural lashes. next apply a thin cot of liquid eyeliner where the false lash meets the lashline to blend and it helps the lash stay put. Continue with second lash and continue with your show eyemakeup routine. Good luck with your show! the Shu Umera lash gue is best. lash duo works well too.
