Question
What causes ripples, lumps??
I can't seem to do it right! I make sure that my nails are clean and lotioned; I make sure that my nails have nothing on them (like dust). I put on a layer of hardening or base coat, 2 of color, and sometimes a top coat. But what is causing the ripples and lumps???

Bubbles in the polish can cause bumps. Instead of shaking the polish, try rolling it between your hands. This is supposed to reduce the formation of bubbles.

I don't know if you already have or not, but make sure that you smooth each of your fingernails before applying anything to them. Also make sure each product you use is dry before applying another. Could possibly also consider using just one coat of color.

While they work great together, hence being called a set. They are not all one purchase. You need to buy them seperatly. Sorry. I though they all came together when I first looked, too.

Question
Top coat takes of nail color
The top coat takes off the nail color. I give the nail color substantial drying time but when I use this top coat, it leaves streaks and blotches where the polish was taken off. My bottle of clear coat is now a foggy color. The only thing that seems to help is to glop on a thick layer of top coat, but then it never dries.
