OK For Dry/Acne Skin?
Can anyone recommend this for dry skin with very occasional breakouts? I'm looking to switch to a creamier cleanser for fall/winter, but find some of these cleansers can cause acne on my cranky autumn facial skin. I am new to Clinique products and like them, but the mild liquid facial soap has been a bit harsh and drying since we had to turn on the heat this fall. Thanks for any suggestions!

on Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk
I have fairly dry skin (it sucks when I go to high altitude areas where the air is really dry). I do get acne on my chin and temples, especially if I over-wash or use harsh cleansers. I found this works as an occasional cleanser. I tried using it every day for a few weeks and it dried my skin out too much. Then again, I have never been able to wash my face everyday.

Don't use Clinique- typically all their facial soaps/cleaners are too drying. I'm using Garnier's new oil facial cleanser (I have combination skin) and I like it so far. Also Bare Minerals gentle facial cleanser is also nice. As a tip- stay away from anything that foams if you want to prevent any over-drying.

I have had issues with acne for almost 10 years now and neither this nor the balm version caused me to break out. however to each his own because all skin is different. for dry skin issues i would for sure reccommend the balm version over this because it is so moisturizing and gets everything off in a very gentle way. your skin feels amazing after using that product

This is definitely less drying than most cleansers. I would give it a try!

I didn't find this worked very well for my skin type (normally pretty dry, but occasional irritation/breakouts) and tried Josie Maran's argan oil cleanser instead. It has worked wonders for my skin,
