I think this can be worn by both men and women. The scent is neutral enough.

I think it's definitely unisex. Like my other review, I did not like this scent at all, but I think it must smell differently on other people. I was confused about the different varieties of the Acqua de Parma......colonia, colonia absoluta, colonia intense, perfumo (I think) is another one.....it just did not smell right on me, but I know folks who wear it, and it smells good on them.

I could see how this could pass for a unisex fragrance (kind of in the same way that CK One does.) It is not a girly fragrance though. I would describe it as lemony and fresh. And as with all fragrances it really depends on how it smells on you. Try it out.

Yes, it is the original scent in their line.

I believe the Absoluta is a richer scent - not as citrusy, bright. A little more complex. Hope that helps.
