I would go to health food store and buy pure almond oil. You could mix some vitamin E in with it too.

This product is actually made for women who are pregnant to prevent stretch marks. The box comes with instructions on how to massage it on the areas where stretch marks are appearing during pregnancy.

I don't think this product is meant for that. I would get something more specific for stretch marks. I have them and they are still there and I have had no children. Just hips that kept growing.

Definitely! It works better than cocoa butter or some of the other remedies for stretch marks. I've used it tighten up my skin after weight loss and it's been working quite well.

Not sure if it's ok, but I'm using it at night! It's a bit much to use during the day because it can be a bit messy, so I use a lotion for day and this oil for night. Seems to be working fine but only time will tell!

Yes, it is definitely ok to use during pregnancy for stretch marks. They do recommend not using it while breastfeeding when the baby could ingest it.

This doesn't really bother my skin and I consider it pretty sensitive. If I were you I would try it out and it it doesn't work out take it back. I have replace my lotions for this oil. It last me a lot longer and the oil really replenishes my skin.

no, it absorbs really well. But I wouldn't recommend putting it on if its really hot outside or driving leather. It gets slippery lol

It is not sticky at all. It is a dry oil- if you are worried about it being sticky, apply it right when you get out of the shower and your skin is still damp- that way you don't have to use as much. I waited a few minutes before I put clothes on and I never had any on my clothes. My skin just felt moisturized and soft- not at all greasy or sticky

Mainly almond, but better, I think. I don't smell the peppermint. It's mild and soothing rather than invigorating.

It has a sweet almond scent. I cannot smell the peppermint, but the almond is definitely present, but it has that "sweet" odor that you find in some of the other L'occitane products.

I think this really does smell like almond. Although, it is NOT over powering like some almond products can be. The scent is perfect in my opinion. Smells so fresh & clean. I don't think you would regret this purchase. :0)

I think the almond scent is the lead scent. I don't smell mint in it at all. It is AWESOME!!! i love it and i've turned all my friends and coworkers on to it.

i would definitely say use it on the ends of your hair, and even a little on the scalp if you have dry scalp, but if you don't wash your hair every day it could be too much, just experiment, see how your hair likes it. it's definitely 'safe' :)

There's no harm in trying it, if you find the ingredients to be safe. My guess is that it would make your hair either too shiny or greasy, but it might be a decent moisturizer. I would suggest not, but all you'd have to do would be wash your hair extra well after.

I wouldn't use it in the hair. If you want, you can go to a whole foods store, buy some pure almond oil and put a bit of that in your hair. Then wash out in the morning

I say yes, however, I would spritz your palms 1-2 times and run them through or may I suggest Josie Maran's Argan Oil for hair also sold at sephora(personally I know someone using & loving it).Also Ojon has a glossing mist I am trying(misting my palms,using pre-flat iron).Good luck.

Lol. I thought the same thing. It smells so good I want to put it in my hair. Not a good idea. I rubbed some on my body then ran my hands through my hair. It made it clump together and it was super oily, it looked gross.

I would NOT use this product on my hair unless your hair is very coarse in texture. Even then, with an oil base, it may weigh the hair down.

I haven't technically put it in my hair but after I rub it on my skin then I do "wipe" my hands through my hair and it seems fine. Too much may weigh it down but the smell is great.

Yes. I have used this on my hair. But only a little bit or it will weigh your hair down. It works great if you put a tiny bit on your palms and rub together, then smooth over hair. Scent lasts all day.

it smells sweet and light, but light enough I don't think it'd interfere with perfume. It also doesn't seem overpowering, I only notice the smell if I have my nose buried in my arm.

This oil is not for use in the shower, this is for after shower to lock in moisture. Loccitane makes a shower oil that foams for use in the shower.

This is for use after the shower, as you would use a moisturizing lotion. L'Occitane does make an almond shower oil that Sephora sells; item #763706. It foams gently and rinses off with the same almond scent. If you like a shower rinse-off product you might also want to try the almond exfoliating and smoothing delicious paste- it really does make your skin so soft and smooth.

Honestly, I go through a bottle every month and a half or so. But I do use it all over my body, and massage it in, etc. If you were purchasing it just for stretch marks, or a specific area of your body, many people have said it lasts them 3 or 4 months. For me, over a month is honestly pushing it. That being said, I adore it and believe it's worth it for the results, scent, and I see a noticeable difference when I don't use it!

It lasts very long, for me about 5-6 months with daily use but I use a pump, sometimes mixing with sweet almond oil to spread a bit better, rubbing it on the palms of my hands, going lightly over my body and then going back to rub it in.

all day, with no greasiness later in the day...just soft and smooth. it does feel slippery at first--it's an oil. however, it does absorb into the skin, and it lasts. i use it mostly on arms onto hands, and on my legs. it really is a nice product.

I think it helped with mine (not from carrying I child, but from puberty/development!) I noticed a legitimate reduction in marks on both my hips and chest. But I think you do have to use enough of the product, and follow the massage instructions. But I've seen a noticeable difference.

I just started using this product a few weeks ago and my daughter has just turned two. My skin had lost a lot of elasticty after I had her and I have noticed a difference gradually over the past few weeks. I don't know if this product would work for everyone, but so far it's really helped my out.

It smells very similar but if I were you I would get the milk concentrate at $44 because in my opinion you get more bang for your buck as with the oil you need to use a lot and have less control over how much you use because of the pump. Just my opinion as the milk concentrate is really delish and smells exactly the same!
