I have very pale skin and usually have trouble finding a shade light enough for me. I ordered #2 and it was too light for me! I'm going to try #3 now since I found the coverage good for blemishes

Yes, I use this concealer in 5 with BE in Medium Beige every day. It's my go to concealer for covering acne scars and other dark marks.

Yes, I use it with BE every day - they blend together nicely.

This concealer looks cakey on its own, so I would imagine it would look really bad with Bare Essenctuals. Bobby Brown Creamy Concealer works well for me under Bare Essenctuals Matte.

I'm have natural auburn hair, but am darker than most redheads because about half my ancestry is mediterranean. Even in winter, I have olive undertones. I bought #3 because the swatch looked like the surface color, but the undertones show through unless I put a lot on. Now I've looked at the Smashbox site itself, and know I probably need #5, which I;m about to buy now! If you've got a tan at all, I'd go with that too.

Normally you would want to use a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin color for blending purposes. But, this concealer is "full coverage" so there is not a blending concern so you should be able to apply this concealer directly on the scar...or whatever you're trying to cover up, and apply the rest of your makeup around the scar....then Blend, Blend, Blend.

Yes, I use this to cover acne scars under Bare Minerals foundation. It's great.

You're better off using Benefit's Erase Paste, or a mineral makeup product. This little concealer stick is chock-full-o talc! And talc is one of the worst things you can put on acne-prone skin.

if you plan on wearing foundation and concealer, I reccomend that you always put the foundation on before you use the concealer because if you put it on before the foundation, you will most likely wipe off the concealer while putting on the foundation.

Great for spot blemishes, but the color probably wouldn't work well on undereye discoloration, as it's meant to match your skin tone. Check out Lemon-aid by Benefit (i just tried and reviewed it) for eye color-correcting coverage.

I am not sure exactly what that means, but I have pretty sensitive skin and this has not given me any issues. It also does not clog my pores and that is often a concern of mine!

Yes, it is really oil free. And it stays on for hours.
