Questions & Answers for Lancôme MODÈLE SOURCILS - Brow Groomer

Question
How strong is this gel?
My left eyebrow spikes on the inside corner. I always try to comb it down with water but it NEVER stays. Does this just add color or does it also keep unruly brows in place?

This gel is pretty strong. It will definitely tame those unruly brows. I would suggest wiping a little bit of the product off of the wand before applying as it can get a little clumpy. But if more is needed, feel free to apply again!

This product is GREAT for keeping your brow hairs in place, and it doesn't smudge or come off until you take it off yourself. I have sparse brows, but also a few "rebellious" brow hairs in the bunch, and it works great for me.

This Lancome brow groomer adds color and helps keep stray hairs in place. It is not a gel, but is more like mascara, and there is no shine. It combs them and helps keep down my odd grey hairs that prefer to stand up! Hope it works for you. You could experiment with your mascara at home to see if it holds down your spike. If so, then definitely buy this product.

yes! I use it (when the tube is almost empty) on my hair between salon visits. Be careful when using a brand-new tube though bc it will hold the hairs in place like it's supposed to do for your brows. I save older tubes to use just on my hair - which works perfect for me. Hope this helps.

I work for Lancome and am a hairstylist and I have tried to use this between colorings...and it backfired. It feels sticky and if you touch your hair at all you will be left with the reminder on your fingertips. I would recommend going to a beauty supply store(Sally's is great!) and asking the sales associate what they have for between colorings. There is a plethora of items from pencils to mascaras to fibers you can put on that are usually no more than $10.

I think that only if you had a very small area you were trying to add color to this would be the right product. You may need to use your fingers or a fine comb/brush as the product could the "spread" to cover more area.

I work for Lancome and would recommend the Brunet if you are looking to be on the darker side or if you want to stay a little bit lighter, go with Taupe. It is all a matter of personal preference but I would always recommend going darker to really frame your face.

answer 3
Taupe definitely. The darker color would probably look artificial. If your brows are thinning you need to be careful to apply carefully. If you use too much pressure the product will smear on your skin.

This product is great for sparse brows, and it will color any gray or white you have in there, too. If you have light brown hair, you might want to go with the taupe. But if you have medium to dark brown hair, the brunette color should work best for you. I have medium brown hair, fair skin and hazel eyes, and I use the brunette.

I would suggest the taupe. Don't be fooled by the name or its look on the applicator. It provides a darker color (not as dark as a brown or black) covers grays and tames brows as well

Same as a mascara tube, there is plenty of product in the tube. I scrape the brush on the side of the tube and push the colored gel back into the tube because I use a small amount at a time and build the brow after using my brow pencil.

I don't see a size on mine, but it looks like a tube of mascara. You only use a little bit at a time, though, and once you fix your brows, you don't have to keep touching them up so I think this product will last a while.

the actual size on the tube is .19oz. I would say that its a little longer than a normal mascara tube. You use so little each time that I'd probably replace it with a new one before I actually run out.

Question
i have tan/olive skin? dark brown hair and unruly thick dark eyebrows.
i am interested in the modele sourcils brow groomer. but not sure if i should get the natural or brunet gel. I do not wear makeup, very rare so i want the eyebrows to look natural and i'm scared if i get the brunet it will not look natural to me, but i'm not sure if the natural will be light on my eyebrows. Can you give me better details on this? thanks.

I would get it in clear, which I think they have in the stores, not online as far as I can tell. If you can master not putting too much on then it will look natural. I don't like a heavy brow on myself so I stick with the clear version of this product.

Brunet is going to add color between brow hairs, making them appear a bit fuller but if you have thick brows already I wouldn't be too worried. I have pretty thick brows as well and this makes them look so much more polished and glamourous.

I have blonde hair, but use the Brunet. Since you can control the level of color you want, it should work just fine for you. I use very little so that my brows are light brown. The more you add, the darker they get.

Brunette is the darkest color, but it's a nice medium-dark brown (not reddish and not a black-brown). I wondered which color to buy, too, but I decided to go with the brunette, and I am so glad I did. The taupe would have been too light.

Definitely the taupe. I've got fair / blonde hair, and I use it. My friend has very blonde hair / eyebrows, and she uses it too.
It looks like it has a very strong colour when it is on the wand, but it is not strong or noticeable at all when it's on your eyebrows.

I would use the brunet or natural.. if your eyebrows are dark already you shouldn't really need more color... so the clear would work just fine to sculpt them a bit. Otherwise the brunet; I have champagne blonde hair and I use the taupe so definitely avoid that one!
