I love that it has a separate section for the powder and the sponge applicator. I tend to use my brush when I'm at home but if I take it with me, the sponge works great.

Depending on your skin tone, if you tend to be more fair when purchasing foundations then go w/ the fair (I use the fair in this powder). If you have a little bit more color to your skin (more beigey) then go with the Light color (if I have a tan I would go w/ the Light color). Hope this helps! :)

I would suggest fair because this press powder is not a foundation powder; hence coverage is not as heavy as regular foundation.

Question
What color should I get?
I'm pretty fair and my face gets red and blotchy and i use the neutral color in clinique foundation which is not the lightest one, i dont know if i should get fair or light? I got the light in Benefit Get Even but it seemed slightly too light but the medium would be too dark

I am really fair with yellow undertones, but my skin gets red blotches all over pretty easily. Fair works really well for me, but unfortunately I haven't tried the other products you mentioned so I can't be sure about the colors you mentioned.

I have acne prone/combination skin and this powder works great, I do not breakout at all from it. This powder is also good for touch-ups throughout the day without looking all cakey (it still leaves a natural finish). I get oily in my T-zone and this keeps my skin looking fresh.

I would get the tan, but this powder goes on so sheer and blendable that you could probably get away with medium or tan.

Question
Is the compact refillable?
It looks like it could be, and besides it's a shame to have to throw away such a cute quilted compact. It would be so easy to just put a new refill of powder inside.

Question
Which color?
Which color do you think would suit me best? I am of Asian orgin but I live in southern CA which means that I have a tan. I think my skin tone is medium with golden undertones or maybe beige or tan with yellow undertones. It depends on the season. I am deadset on buying this product so please don't recomend a different product to me. So, which color do you think is best?

This powder provides sheer coverage so you could probably get away with either color. Both have neutral undertones, light is slightly darker than fair.

Dear tarte product users,

Our Provocateur Mineral Pressed Powder in fair would be best suited for someone with fair skin that has beige undertones. The light shade would be best suited for someone with light skin that has pink undertones.
