I would say it lasted a good 6 hours through eating and drinking from a glass and a straw. Didn't hold up so well when I had a cold and was continually using a tissue.

Nooo. It wears off pretty quickly. If you don't touch it up, it tends to look weird. I found it required several coats to get a nice color.

You won't need to worry about this transferring to the mic. Just start with a well exfoliated lip, and let the stain dry. It actually sets and stains faster than any I've tried before. And, I don't seem to get patchiness of coverage...

hey, no it wont come off if after you apply it you let it COMPLETELY dry and sink in, i mean after you apply dont do anything with your lips, i open my mouth slightly while i let it dry so i dont get 'bitten' lip stains, to be sincere this product is amazing, if you want to get a bright color just re apply and build the color but let it completely dry and sink in between each coat. hope this helps!

I am a singer and dancer i have worn this stain to concerts and performances it wlll not budge when it is fully dried.

The most efficient way to remove a very long lasting lip stain is with make up remover. I recommend Estee Lauder's Take It Away, either the cream on a cotton swab, or their wipes. That will remove any stubborn make up without drying the area.

I use makeup remover personally, works for me.

I use eye make-up remover or soap and water. Soap and water is usually easier to keep on hand.

i wouldn't suggest lip envy as a cheek stain, it's very good for lip staining, but it's potent and precise. you'd probably end up with blotches on your cheeks for a day or two.

YES! I have it in Envious, and I always use it as a cheek stain. Because Envious is a lighter stain, I'll apply a couple layers (my skin is a medium/olive). The trick is to blend quickly using your fingers and do one cheek at a time.
Take the wand and swipe it on the apple of one of your cheeks, quickly blend down and towards the hairline. Once you've blended it, do the other cheek. If you're fair or light skinned, then 1 coat on each cheek might be enough, but if you want more of a pop and for it to last allll day (it really does last! even after a workout!) then start the process again. Swipe the product on the apple of the cheek, blend, and then do the other cheek. I think I do about 3 to 4 swipes on each cheek.
It leaves a beautiful flush, and if you're one of those people that likes your makeup to be super precise, then this might not be for you, but try it anyways! (It's makeup, it'll come off!)
Lastly, since you're using your fingers to blend they will be stained as well, but no worries! As soon as you're done take some lotion (preferably a creamier one) and rub it on the palms of your hands, focusing on the fingertips. This helps lift most of the dye in a gentle way. Use a makeup remover or astringent to remove the rest.
I know it sounds like alot, but it seriously takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish, you get a beautiful mouth and cheeks that won't budge for at least a couple hours (the cheeks will last longer than the lips), and if you do it under your foundation it'll still show through (just use a sheerer application of foundation, or use a heavier application of the stain)

I wouldn't try using Lip Envy as a cheek stain, because the color absorbs very quickly, and you'd possibly end up with dotty or blotchy color.

After seeing your question, I actually tried it. I mixed the lip envy with some sunscreen and blended it on my cheeks, but it turned out a little shiny. I put some finishing powder(Mine is Cover FX) over to mattify, and boom-Super rosy cheeks, but a natural looking flush. I have Greedy, so maybe Envious you can use alone on your cheeks, but Greedy you can definitely not use plain as blush. The problem I have with it is that it will sink in to pores and make blemishes very visible. Perhaps if you use some primer before putting it on, it will make it better. Although it does work, i wouldn't really recommend it. It's pretty uneven and dries quicklt, so it's very difficult to blend and make it even. For a similar(but better) flush, I would recommend Tarte Cheek Stain- It's Amazing with a capital A.

I would think that on a darker lip, it would give a darker tint to the lips. I would suggest Greedy because of the deep berry color. I think Envious would be too light to show up. If you can, visit a Sephora store and try some on! Or if you do purchase online, you can always send it back, if you don't like it, for a full refund!!

Depends on how many coats you put on. If you want a darker stain, I'd suggest applying more coats. I have slightly darker lips and it works well for me.

It will give you quite a nice deep colour, though i would drink through a straw while wearing it. It helped me moisten my lips and rehydrate them. if you're going to use a gloss over it, wait for the stain to dry, then lightly apply gloss, then let that dry before eating or drinking.

I recommed "greedy" for a more natural color. The other one is just too red. The color you end up with depends on how much you put on. I usually just put a little bit because i want my lips to look natually rosey.

the lip stain it's self can be used in a way as lip liner, but i don't think that Urban Decay makes the lip liner you're talking about anymore. you might want to search for an alternative?

The color is called "Envious". You really don't need a lip liner with this since it is a stain. Also, lip liners are so "yesterday" and can be very aging. I prefer a look that is not so "perfect" and a bit smudgy. It's much more natural looking and as if you're not trying to achieve perfect lips. Of course, it helps if you have naturally full lips like I do.

Urban Decay used to make a marker type stain. It was called Lip Ink. I loved it in Spank, a beautiful berry shade. They have been discontinued, but I find them on Ebay all the time. You don't really need a liner with Lip Envy. You can apply it carefully, and I promise, it will not bleed!

they do pop, if you want natural i suggest a lip balm with color. these are intense colors and I think they look great on most skin tones, but if you're looking for muted tones, you should definitely try a colored balm first.

You're right, They are on the cool side. The used to make a light brown, but it has been discontinued. If you want something warmer, and still long-lasting, try Buxom's Big and Healthy Crayons. They have some gorgeous warm colors, and they really act more like a stain, lasting forever. Josie Maran's new markers also come in some warm shades.

if there s a nude color, then it may have more than 3 color. I saw it at Ulta and it has 3 colors .
