I would describe it as rich, and it certainly feels like a night cream rather than a day cream in the sense that it is thicker than day creams. This is a fantastic night cream, and I use it when I can't splurge on La Mer. It's that luxurious and rich. It also smells and feels heavenly. My skin is still dewy and glowing in the morning.
