I am in my fifties and I find that I don't need to add a moisturizer when I have this sunblock on. I tend to get black-heads from true moisturizers and I don't have any now.

My facial person recommended the product and gave me a sample first. Loved it. She suggested to blend sunscreen in first, wait 3 minutes, then put on moisturizer if needed. I have combination skin so I don't really need moisturizer except for under and around eyes.

Personally, I wouldn't use this as a replacement for my daily moisturizer, but I suppose it could be. I like it as an addition.

Question
How tinted is this product?
I'm of medium-olive skin tone. I'd like to purchase this product and i've read that it has a bit of a tint to it. If so, could someone describe the colour. And has anyone noticed that the tint helped even out the skintone or hide imperfections. Thanks so much.

This item has no tint. I'm not sure if Murad has a sunblock with tint or not but this definitely has no tint.

I'm olive toned Latina and when I first saw tint, which is a little darker than I am, I was hesitant. However my facial person gave me a sample and it blended away on my skin, not darkening it at all.

This product is not tinted I don't know why someone would say that. It is white and blends beautifully into skin. I do think it has a bit of an opalescence to it which your skin looking beautiful.

I don't know if it is truly oil-free or not but I can tell you that I don't get black-heads like I have in the past when using products that are oil-based. I have gotten them from products stating they were oil-free so, all I can say is that my skin feels healthy, smooth and protected.

This product has naturally-derived "essential oils" in it. I have skin prone to break-outs and this caused no issues for me. I'd definitely recommend it.

I don't know if it's truly oil-free or not. But I have combination skin which tends to be more oily during the summer and this moisturizer is perfect for me. However, I also do not wear a lot of make-up so for me, this doesn't add any extra oil.

Question
Do I need a regular moisturizer underneath?
I'm really confused. I read the description of this online and gathered that I did not need additional moisturizer, unless of course I'm having a particularly dry day. But when you browse through the "moisturizer" tab under skin care, this product is not listed. It is only listed under sunscreen.
I've only just realized this, I bought this at my local sephora yesterday and used it for the first time today. I'm afraid my skin is going to start acting out from the lack of moisture.

I don't use a moisturizer underneath, but I do use Josie Maran's argan oil at night. I find if I don't use the argan oil at night my face is too dry during the day with just the sunscreen on it. As a reference, I've got combo skin that's sensitive and acne-prone and I used to always wear moisturizer during the day until I found this!

answer 2
No, you don't HAVE to wear moisturizer in addition to the sunblock. However, due to the drying acne medications I'm on, I usually add a light moisturizer to my face BEFORE I apply this sunblock over it. That's all I need to keep my face from feeling dry and I never burn using this product with or without the added moisturizer, even though I'm extremely pale!
