Volume Advance™ Animated Volumizing Cream

What it is:A cream with a light, whipped texture for adding volume without clumping. What it does:This styling cream gives limp, fine hair fierce fullness, strength, separation, texture, shine—and a bit of "grip" to make styling easier. Unlike thickeners that can create crunchy, clumpy hold that collapses when touched, this cream leaves hair feeling touchable, flexible, soft, and resilient. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens - Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes - Phthalates - TriclosanWhat else you need to know:Fortified with Ojon oil, nature's hair-repairing golden elixir, this product also contains protein-rich Peruvian amaranth, and the extracts of sage and soy.Research results:According to Ojon, in a clinical cross-section study conducted in combination with Volume Advance Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner, this product increased hair diameter by 70%.

You can use this on wet or dry hair. I personally use it on my hair after it is dry, then curl with my curling iron. Fabulous!!!

I use it on wet hair, then blow-dry with the defuser. The more product, the more defined the curls (within reason, but if it's a special night use a little extra). The a scrunch a thick/hard waxy pomade as the final finisher.

The instruction is on the bottle - you can apply it all over on wet hair and style, and then put more on the roots when hair is dry to add volume. As for me i find it a bit heavy and mostly use it on dry hair.

Use on wet hair before styling. Think it can be used on dry hair, too, to add a "piecy" look.

Ritual: Rub a pea-sized amount in the palms of your hands and apply evenly throughout damp hair from roots to ends. Blow dry as desired.

To add body, texture and volume to a finished dry style, rub a pea-sized amount between fingertips. Apply by massaging under hair, onto scalp and root area in a circular motion until desired volume is achieved. Piece out individual strands to add separation to lengths and ends of hair.

This product can be used on wet or dry hair- however it is better distributed through wet hair and works very well this way.
You only have to use a dime size amount- a little goes a long way!

Re: application -- a small amount did nothing; a large amount made my hair look greasy by mid-day.

Myself, I use about a dime size amount, rub it between both hands, and then massage it in the roots of my hair. Seems to work best for me that way. I feel like my hair gets too greasy and flat if I use more or spread it to the ends of my hair.

Ritual: To create body, emulsify a dime-sized portion in the palm of your hands until it disappears evenly through damp hair from roots to ends. Blow dry as desired.
To add extreme body, texture, separation and shine to finished style, emulsify half a dime-sized portion between your hands until it disappears and lightly scrunch through your blow-dry styled hair starting from your roots to ends.

It depends on whether you have long or short hair as to how much you need to use. I have shoulder length hair and use around the size of a dime or a fat pea. Rub the product between the palms and distribute evenly from the roots to the ends. *This works best for me if I bend over head down.
