No, I don't think it's the same at all. The woman's scent smells BETTER!
I do not smell powdery at all.. On me it is woody vanilla gingery and orange smelling..

No, it's nothing like the male version. I've smelled the male version, and it doesn't smell very much like that! I would recommend you go on e-bay and find a sample size of both male and female version to verify if they smell the same to you, as everyone's sense of smell is different. Hope this helped!
I haven't smelled the male version. However, this does not smell powderey to me. My mom uses dusting powders and talcs; so I grew up smelling powders. Code for women is mature but not overbearing, nor is it fluffy smelling. Powders conjure memories of baby powder, etc. This is a grown-up fragrance. Male fragrances are generally heavy and smell somewhat "musky". This does not . It is definately feminine. Scents are personal and are often associated with various events in our lifes. Therefore, we experience them differently. Our body chemistry plays a part in how a scent smells too. So for me, I would not describe Code for women as powderey or masculine. The next time out, I will stop by the fragrance counter and sample the male version, just to smell the differences. I hope this helps you in your decision making process.
