I found that it did smear a lot when it got wet, with tears, rain, etc.
Haven't tried swimming yet but if you're looking for something say, wedding proof (you gotta know there will be some crying), I'd go for something a little more permanent.

Does this product crack or become cakey/flakey after awhile?

I've only really ever used Sephora's eye pencils and never really liquid. But lately I've been looking for a more dramatic and exotic look and thought this might do the trick. Does anyone know however if this product starts to flake off or crack after awhile? Thanks!

i use this all the time. for all day wear of for shows. I put it on thicker for shows and thinner for all day wear. It has never flaked or anything.

Doesn't flake at all and stays all day. Occasionally ur eyeshadow might stick the liner after a while but it never hurts to reapply. Oh n
and it's great for dramatic cat eye look too!

i wouldn't necessarily call it "waterproof". its long lasting. What the people mean by that is that it will not fade or rub off. but i think that it is easy to remove. i can remove it with a cue tip and water.

The applicator is very thin! Does tend to soak up a lot of the product though, so make sure to wipe it before applying to achieve a nice, thin line :)
