I have used different types of cleansers and did not notice that it didn't work with them. I did like the cream based cleansers as they foamed up and it felt great!

I believe one of the big differences is the speed settings as the Mia only has one. I was told that the Mia is more of a travel version, but is still great for everyday.

Hello! The Mia Clarisonic just has one speed. The regular one has 2 or 3 different speeds. The regular Clarisonic also beeps when to change to different sections of your face. Break-down: Forehead/20 sec; nose and chin/20 sec; one cheek/10 sec; other cheek/10 sec. The Mia just stays on for a minute I think! Hope this helps!

The Clarisonic Body Spot Therapy Brush Head is designed to work exclusively with the Clarisonic Plus Model which has a special “body” setting. It will not work correctly with the regular Clarisonic or Clarisonic Mia.

Question
Difference b/t normal brush and sensitive brush
I am not sure which brush to use. I want good exfoliation, but am afraid to aggravate my skin. I have oily skin w/ large pores and some blackheads and mild acne. Would the normal brush be too harsh?

i recommend trying the most sensitive brush first, it's your face! if it doesn't do the trick, try the next up. good luck :)

I have oily, acne prone skin and I prefer the sensitive brush. I used the normal one for a few weeks, but then I figured that with all the products I'm using on my face, I might as well stick with the sensitive brush.

The sensitive one is softer and feels a lot nicer on my face. Also, I had a problem with the normal one spraying! I had read about that before and I'm not sure if it's a defective brush head or something but it was a pain.

Question
Do you have to use their cleansers?
I am interested in buying the Clarisonic, but I currently use Clinique skin care products and am happy with them. Can I use my regular Clinique liquid soaps with their brushes or do I have to use the stuff Clarisonic offers?

If I have to use their cleansers, do you guys recommend following up with my regular Clinique skin care routine after using the brush?

If you have a system you already like, I would definitely NOT recommend using their cleansers. I would only recommend using their cleansers if you are looking for a new cleanser - they're there so you might as well try them.

I use Purity Made Simple with mine and haven't even touched the Clarisonic cleansers. I know what works with my skin and am not looking for anything new, so I stick with what works!

You can use any cleanser you wish. Do NOT use any exfoliator with granules (unless smooth and round and even then be careful!). I have seen others list Philosophy, Boscia, Cetaphil. You can certainly stick with your current products, and the Clarisonic should just make them all work even better!!

Question
Color of brush head after cleaning?
For those who wear foundation and use the Clarisonic, what color is your brush head after you've cleaned it? I've tried a couple of different soaps to clean the brush head but it does retain some color from my foundation.

You should wash off your foundation before using the Clarisonic to cleanse and exfoliate your face.

that's weird - is it a waterproof foundation? i use a mineral foundation and although while i am cleaning my face you can see color in the foam on the brush it hasn't ever stained the brush. mine is still the same color (white) as it was originally. in fact, the only way i can tell when it's time to replace is the wear on the bristles. maybe your cleanser isn't great? i use the philosophy purity one and it always rinses clean.

I remove my eye make-up and just swish the rest of my face prior to using the brush. Otherwise you can really see the brush head end up a little bit dirtier than usual.

I can only say what I do. I give my skin a quick once over to remove the surface makeup and then rinse. Then I cleanse using the brush per the instructed time. I have had very good results using this method.

Question
Spraying the mirror?
I find that it's messy to use the Clarisonic at the sink because the moving bristles splash soap and water all over the mirror. Has anyone else been having this issue? Any ideas on what I could do differently?

Question
Removes clogged pores?
I have some minor clogged pores and skin imperfections, as well as some slight past acne scars.

I do not breakout frequently or often even, and I have combo (young), olive skin. My skin can be sensitive and I can experience anything- dryness, breakouts, etc. Basically I have no real issue with my skin but would like to get rid of these minor clogged pores which don't seem to go away with washing or face masks.

Does this product get rid of clogged pores and these small imperfections to give a very smooth, airbrushed quality? Like magazine perfect?

My skin looks polished and firm after using the Clarisonic..I use a very good cleanser and have found that my moisturizer soaks in much better, and smoother...
I have no blocked pores but have no idea how acne scars respond..
I believe the vibrational head not only increases the collagen in my skin but firms it as well...my age spots have gone so the dermis layer is repaired..I am sure you would love it....most retailers have a 30day guarantee if you are not as happy with the product simply return it...
