Yes you can, I have had my hair loc for six to eight months and I was able to comb the loc out with some effort on my part without breakage and retwist it.

This product washes out beautifully. I use it for my blow-dried twist-outs and bantu knots.

It is not the product that causes hair to lock. Your hair will only lock by not unraveling the twist or coil (depending on how you have chosen to start your locks). This product can easily be washed out with any shampoo. Also, it really depends on how tight your hair's curl pattern is, when determining when to take out your twists or coils. Those with the tightest, kinkiest of textures will have to take the twists out (maybe 2-3 weeks) sooner than those with looser curl patterns. This also depends on how big the twists are. The smaller the twists, the quicker the hair will lock up. Chunky twists can last much longer. I know this because this has been my experience. Especially since I have had locs before and my hair has different curl patterns naturally (4a, 3c, 2b)

Yes! This product is easy to wash out when necessary. Unlike the Hair Honey, Hair Balm, etc, it does not leave your hair feeling greasy and waxy when in the shower.

This product wont create locs. It actually is intended to moisturize your hair after washing or in between washes. It certainly washes out.

This product leaves the hair very soft. It is easy to wash out. I wash it out every 2 weeks but freshen up the twist weekly.

I don't think this is the product you are looking for you are looking for more of a holding gel or lotion. This is more like a hair grease than a holding product. Its good at adding shine and moisture.

I use it on twist outs and flat twists and like it a lot but I do usually retwist at night...usually 2-4 loose flat twists or loose chunky twists. I spritz it at night with whatever leave-in I happen to be using and reseal the ends with a little of the loc butter and in the AM it untwists just fine. I can usually do this routine for 4-5 days if I'm not working out.

You should try Loc Butter. It should give you the hold that you need.

Absolutely. I have really course hair and this is what I use for twist out.. This is day 5 of my twist!

LB has great hold but only a dab will do ya! No need to reapply this product for your twistout - a spray mist of water reactivates the product. Use sparingly - HTH!

This is great for twist. I use it on my 2 year old daughter for her twist and it seems your texture is like hers. Her twist last for 1 week using the loc butter. I do not have to add any moisterizer to hair throughout that week. The loc butter moisterizes and keeps the twist in tact. This is the only product I have found that works. Using a satin hat at night helps but not needed.

For curly hair if your hair is thick it would work well to add shine it might be too heavy for thin fine hair unless you have locs or twist.

The mimosa hair honey is more of a pomade than the loc butter. Loc butter is for shaping and styling. The hair honey is for shine and moisture and also melts in your hand quicker than the loc butter, which is thicker.

It is a pomade, but it is not waxy or greasy like others. Of the Kizzi Pomade, Mimosa Hair Honey, and the Loc Butter, I would suggest you use the Loc Butter. I have the Hair Honey under my bathroom sink and it's always left more of a coating in my hair, as opposed to sculpting and holding it. I swear by the Loc Butter and that's saying a lot considering I have thick hair that is usually un-tamable.

I use this on my locs, but my best friend steals it all the time to moisturize and define her curly hair. It works like a pomade and if you use just a tiny bit it shouldnt weight your hair down too much or make it look oily.

For curly hair, it's best you use the hair milk for definer curls; loc butter is for locs and twist, so from your three choices, maybe the mimosa hair honey

I would try it on hair that is blow-dried first and let it sit overnight. Don't expect a super-hold though and don't be too heavy-handed with the product.

If it can be used to do two strand twists...then probably. I would advise to make to use a small tooth comb to get hair as smooth as possible. Maybe add a little natural aloe vera gel.

I've used it with curlformers and the curls come out great so I assume flexi rods would work just as well. Just remember a little goes a long way.
