Wax isnt good for hair because it can dry and crack your hair. Beeswax is a natural ingredient that helps tame hair. Hope this helps. :)

yes it is good for your hair, i use it more for a shine look, the trick is to not use too much otherwise it will weight it down, and always grab the ends before you distribute all over your hair this way it will be look too greasy,

I believe beewax would be to heavy for perm or relaxed hair. But for natural hair, it seems ok when mixed with other natural ingredients.

Use a little bit at night before bed and put a scarf or wrap on your hair. Put a little more on in the mornings before heat styling. It immediately makes your hair look fuller, very soft and healthy.

My hair is very fine and was damaged very badly when I decided to add highlights. This has definitely made a difference in repairing the damage and making my hair look and feel fuller while growing it back out. I am sure it helps repair the damage as well and prevents new damage from curling irons.

My hair is also dry as well as fine and this does not weigh it down when used everyday.

I'm suspicious of all the products that claim to help grow hair. Hair butter helps you care for the hair and healthy, protected hair is what I aim for. So important to fight the dryness with good moisture and to strengthen the fine but full curly coarse beauty!

I have no clue if Carols Daughter helps grow hair, but try a Anti Dandruff shampoo because its minty and helps open pores and stimulates hair roots. Also try massaging your scalp every other day. Hope this helps. :)

the trick about products is to always start with a small amount and see how your hair feels, is better to keep adding more than too much. try it on a damp hair, let it hair dry and apply a bit more

This product works amazing on curly hair because that is what I have and it does wonders! It de-frizzes my hair, keeps the curls nice and bouncy and will NOT stiffen your hair. I strongly reccommend.

answer 6
If your hair is thick in texture, this would be an excellent product to moisturize, de-frizz and add shine and managability to the hair. This formula is not greasy but would add a slight amount of weight to the hair, loosening your curls slightly but still making it easier to manage.

If you'd prefer a slightly more lightweight formula with similar benefits but which would set your tight curls, try her Hair Milk instead.

Yes, Yes, Yes. This can be used on "caucasian" hair. For years I've tried products advertised by and for women with straight fine hair, as if it's the only hair type out there... then I tried shampoos & styling products (again geared towards caucasians) for 'curly' hair - never finding anything that worked. I started looking into the sections of the retail stores for non-caucasian hair products and what I was reading was exactly what I'd been looking for! I tried the Ojon line and was disappointed in most of the products, or maybe they just werent for me..Then @ Sephora I saw the Carol's daughter line & I'd heard great things. I've loved every product I've tried & they all smell fabulous!!

As far as "working on Caucasian hair" to make it healthy, maybe. But all i can say is that I have Caucasian hair, and I have tried this and it was just heavy and greasy looking on my hair. It weighed my hair down and made it look like I had residue in it. So, if u do wanna use it, i would do it when u know no one will see you. I can't really comment on if it'll work either because after seeing how it made my hair look and feel, I stopped using it. I would def. say that this is something for African American hair only.

Hi, this product is wonderful. Yes, it is heavy but you do not need to add too much. If you put a little bit onto your palm, rub your hands together and add it to your hair when your hair is either wet or damp, it will dry beautifully. If the product does not work, then Carol's daughter line has many other hair products that work really well on your hair type! I hope this helped.

Carol Daughter has some good products for dry hair like the healthy hair butter and the hair balm ( my friend uses this she really loves it.) But also have you tried some essential oils like coconut oil or sweet almond oil? These are good for dry hair and scalp and can help with hair growth.

I can, and often do, highly recommend Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey! It is light and fragrant. The product warms and seemingly melts in the hands if they are rubbed together before running through hair. It adds a healthy shine to your hair and will definitely moisturize your scalp and, as an added bonus, your hands. While it is very emollient, it is not greasy. I use it for days without washing my hair and it doesn't make my hair look oily or heavy.

I wouldn't consider this good product for chemically treated hair, as it is too thick and would block moisture for penetrating the hair. I can only use it on my new growth when I'm desparately in need of a relaxer. I would reccomend finding a light water based mositurizer (any leave-in conditioner) and sealing with an oil like coconut or castor 2x a day if hair is damaged & dry.

Question
my hair is permed, dyed, and always very dry.
You have a lot of products to choose from. I don't want to buy every product in your line for hair care. What do I specifically need to keep my hairy hydrated and to stop breaking. My hair stylist, uses the KeraCare products, which are really good. Having heard about your product, I wanted to give it a try for the problems I mentioned. I would also like my hair to be thicker and grow.

Hey. Carol Daughter does have some good products that can stimulate hair growth. Do you have a scalp brush? This is good to stimulate the blood flow which can help hair growth. Essential oils like coconut oil, sweet basil, sweet almond oil and the list goes on are good. I heard a combo of the hair balm and lisa elixir is great. Make sure you are taking good care of your scalp by oiling it, massaging it and putting good products on there. Weekly deep treatments, protein and hot oil treatments are a must! Good luck!

I don't believe this product will work well for chemically treated hair. I am relaxed and found it too heavy, which will prevent the moisture your hair desparately needs from entering your hair. I think you should find a good water based moisturizer (any leave-in conditioner), apply to hair 2x daily, followed by sealing with coconut or castor oil. I normally go to the salon every week and have deep conditions, but 3 days after my visits my hair would start to dry out and I would never apply anything to my hair, because I didn't want greasy looking hair. Doing what I described above has helped me tremendously. Just a little moisture & a little oil (the oils I noted absorb quickly) & regular trims should help.

I think so. I originally used it with a leave-in conditioner and it left my hair too heavy. It seems to have enough conditioning oils on its' own to be used without another leave-in. I will, however, continue to use it on my towel-dried hair with a little Hair Balm because my hair is unusually dry and the 2 work well together on my hair.
