Questions & Answers for Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder

Question
Is this rosy enough to use as a blush
I have been looking for a blush that has a similar effect as a bronzer, but is still rosy on the cheeks. If I have light to medium skin, would blondes be appropriate for this effect (it seems that it does contain some pink pigments).

This is a light bronzer only. If you want a combination blush and bronzer I strongly recommend Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess powder.

I would suggest the blonde, but you could probably use either since this bronzer is so sheer and natural looking.

Having bought both color 1 and 2, I have learned that the color choice depends more on whether you can wear pink on your cheeks than whether you are a blonde or brunette. I prefer shade 2 although I am green-eyed blonde because my fair skin is too ruddy to add any more pink.

Assuming you want a light, natural color, I recommend the 'blonde 01' shade. I'm fair skinned with green eyes as well, and it's the shade I buy (and love!).

Oil-free is generally not a good indication if a product is comedogenic or not. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, and i've been using this product for years because i love the color and shimmer. I don't think this product clogs my pores, so don't be afraid to try it. If it doesn't work for you, then return it!

Each separate color within this bronzer has a different finish, they range from matte to shimmer. When mixed together, this bronzer is not very shimmery, just a tad bit.

I use the brush Guerlain makes for bronzers. It does the work for me and it pick up the right amount of bronzer. whey you apply the bronzer u are suppose to do a number 3 on your face I start with my checks, and without picking up the brush take it to the forehead and bring it down to the jawl line. This way you have applied the bronzer where it needs to go and this brush makes it really easy!

I think your skin tone matters more than hair color. I saw the next darker shade in store and it would have been too dark for me. Our coloring seems very different, so, it may be okay for you. Good luck!
