I doubt it. I don't thing the red lips is from melanin. And that's what this deals with. I also wouldn't suggest ingesting the stuff (which would happen) if you put it on you lips.

DO NOT put this on your lips. It is more likely to cause irritation and the like, than help out.

I developed some redness which resembled Rosasea or tiny spider veins under my red eye. I used 'Tanda' and then applyed Ole Hendriksen Enlighten Me followed by SriVectin SD. I didn't buy the products all at once, they are a little steep in price. I just went on a hench, and it paid off. I don't need to wear heavy foundation any more. It did take 5 months, but with perseverence it worked. I hope I was able to help you.

In my opinion, as an esthetician and beauty junkie, is that AHA's such as lactic acid won't help much with redness. Nor will vitamin C. However, both will help diminish the appearance of acne scarring. I have a very ruddy skin-tone, especially after shaving. I live by Murad's Recovery Treatment Gel. Great for calming redness and soothing inflammation.

It helps to lighten dark spots and I use it after exfoliating because it has a nice gentle tingle if you put it on after exfoliating.

Question
What is the % of Vitamin C in this serum?
I am looking for something that will correct age and sun spots. Does this product also firm skin and help with wrinkles? Also, is it too harsh for sensitive skin? In other words, does it cause irritation, redness or cause a stinging sensation? Thank you for your help!

I tried this, but it didn't really do anything for my age spots/sun damage. It was not irritating but my skin is not usually sensitive.

Question
How strong is this?
I'm looking for a product with a higher concentration of skin lightening ingredients. I have quite a few sunspots on my cheekbones and eyelid areas that I'd like to see reduced and less visible. I already use an oil-free SPF 50 for my face and apply that daily

I definatly saw results before 28 days of use. The spots I was hoping to lighten were not too dark to begin with though. Maybe it depends on the amount of lightening you were hoping to achieve.

The bottle only says apply to face but I used a bit on a spot on my arm and it worked. I would certainly think the results would be the same on your legs. Good luck!

I was using it at night only. The invigorating night gel was too harsh for my face in the winter so I put the serum on then sheer transformation creme. In the summer, I've been putting on the serum then the invigorating night gel.

Hi,

I wish I knew! I have just recently started the Truth Serum and while it hasn't done anything for my dark spots/melasma, it has made my skin "glow" and look healthy, so I don't notice the spots as much.

I want to try this to see if this would be good for the dark spots, but the reviews don't seem all that great for dark spots, more for acne.

Maybe someone can chime in who has tried both!
