Questions & Answers for Boscia Intensifying Moisture Pack +

Question
Can I use this as my nightly moisturizer?
I've been using the Boscia night treatment, but this costs less per ounce. Would it work as well for my fairly dry, fairly breakout-prone skin? Thanks!

Yes! I use this nightly and love it. It's super light - not thick - but very moisturizing. I have break out/dry skin and it works great.

ummm... maybe? i used it on my superdry skin morning and night, and it proved too much. but maybe just at night would be ok? not sure how it would do on breakout prone skin, though...... my advice is go get a larger sample and try it for 5 nights and see. thats what i did, and i was glad in the end i did because it definetly wasnt for me.

Since it's made as a mask, I'd say that it's not made to be left on all night. It may seem a little more expensive for the Restorative Night Moisture, but it is made to work overnight & I find it really not-greasy and perfect for acne-prone skin. Besides, you'll only need one pump per application and it should last *at least* 6 months.

I LIKE IT BETTER THAN THEIR NIGHT TX. IT DOES HAVE MORE MOISTURIZING EFFECTS. DON'T KNOW ABOUT BREAK OUT SKIN, MINE IS DRY AND NEEDS ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.

I think you would need something else after. I have tried using this alone and it's fine, but after a few days, it just becomes too mch for my skin. I have very dry spots on my cheecks in the winter but sensitive and combination rest of the year. If you want, you can probably follow up with a less expensive night lotion for the dry areas.

Yes- I have combination skin that gets dry in the winter and this does the trick to add enough moisturization esp at night but it doesn't feel heavy. Mind you, I use about 2 pea size amount, dot around my face and then rub in, It rubs in soo smoothly you don't need alot to get the job done. You really don't need much at all and it works so well. Makes my skin so smooth and soft and feels so moisturized not tight and dry.

i have normal/dry skin and i break out fairly often. i bought this to use as my nighttime moisturizer, but it made me breakout more. the formula left my skin feeling greasy without adding much hydration. i would be careful using this product on your entire face. it probably works best as a dry spot treatment. hope this helps!

No, I've not had any flaking. It actually helps makeup glide for me. I love it as a base - and a TINY bit is all it takes.

No, it's perfectly silky and smooth and absorbs well. It's great under makeup!
(note: it does not contain sunscreen, so be sure to layer on something with an spf if you'll be outdoors.)

My experience has been that it tends to "pill" or form little clumps if you use anything but the tiniest amount. It's more of a masque than a straight out moisturizer, as far as I'm concerned.

This is a mask, and you definitely shouldn't try to put makeup on until you've wiped off the excess or washed your face of the residue.

I use it as a daily moisturizer and would recommend it. It is not heavy like a mask. It soaks in quickly and leaves my skin quenched.

I use this as a general moisturizer, not as a mask as its kinda advertised.
Use teeny amount, half a pea is sufficient. It's great as a night time for my combo skin!

answer 5
No! This is definitely not an all purpose moisturizer. It is very thick and creamy - mainly to be used as a mask, or for intense moisturizing, which then you would only apply a small amount and pat in to the skin lightly.

It is an incredible moisturizer. I like it better than their day moisturizer - but it doesn't have sunscreen so you would need to add that. I mix it with whatever else I'm using at nighttime and find my skin is sooooo much better than without this addition. Also, if you just need a quick intensive treat for thirsty skin, it is great as a mask. Recently I even was without my hair moisturizer that I use to encourage curly hair so I used a dab of this on the ends - my hair was so soft I was thrilled.

answer 7
No, the texture is too thick to use as an all-purpose moisturizer. As a moisturizer it may help on problem dry spots that need an extra layer of protection. Otherwise, I think it works best as a mask.

I wouldn't use it as an everyday moisturizer - it's too rich. I like it as a mask, or occasionally as a booster under my night cream.

If you read all the reviews, you're gonna get confused. This is definitely a mask treatment. If you want a moisturizer from Boscia, it really depends on your skin type, but check out:
