I would say Rockstar just it general, however it really depends on what undertones you have in your eyes.

answer 2
I would assume that Rockstar is less harsh for blue eyes. I actually have blue eyes and medium skin and love the shade Bourbon, becaue I think that black is just too harsh and makes my eyes look smaller.

Black is universally flattering and always bold, but I highly recommend the rockstar shade! It's dark enough to be universally flattering with just enough sparkle to it. Definitely my favorite.

I'd say either will work... black goes with everything, and, Rockstar is a GREAT shade - one of my personal faves. It's not too purple-y, if you know what I mean. Try it!

You can use a sharpener, its regular pencil not tractable. Becareful when sharpening it because the color is very solid and may stick in the sharpener.

Question
A purple (delinquent) for everyday wear?
I'm looking for a purple that will make my hazel eyes stand out (which is a hard thing to do because the tones are so dark) but at the same time I don't want a colour where the eyeliner colour TAKES away attention from the actual eye colour. I was originally going to purcahse rockstar, however, its so similar to black eyeliners that I've recently invested money in that I couldn't justify purchasing it which lead me to Delinquent. Are the sparkles tacky? From the swatches I've seen, it appears that the base of the colour is coal with lays of purple sparkles on it. Can anyone give me their input on this or any suggestions for a purple colour that would be flattering but not too in your face? Also do the sparkles fall down on your cheek/under-eye area? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks! :)

this may be really irrelevant... but I used to wear purple liner all the time because I have light brown/hazel eyes as well. I actually use gel liner(bobbi brown, trying water proof anastasia now) and what I used to do is, two toning the liners... black lines then on top a thin purple line. If the purple is a bit darker, it won't look too stark with the black liner. (Bobbi brown purple is actually too light for my taste tho. but which ever liner kind you use is fine)
Just a thought haha.

I've used Vice which is a dark purple with subtle glitter. Definitely purple and not black, the glitter does not fall everywhere though you may notice a stray sparkle once in a while, and it does not budge. I like the staying power of Vice more than any of UD's other pencils, actually.

For reference, I have brown eyes and I found it to be very flattering.

My eyes are light brown and I like using purple liner. UD makes/made a great purple-based color called "crash" that you may still be able to find. It is my go-to liner and I bought several when I thought they were discontinuing it. I also use "rockstar" which as you said is more of a true purple. I use it a lot and smoke it with rockstar shadow. Really pretty!

Good eyeliner for my wedding?
I am getting married this summer and I am looking for a good eyeliner that will stay on throughout the day. If I cry is it going to smear everywhere? Also, by the end of the day does it stay put or does it smudge around the eyes?

Since it's a pencil there's a good chance you might get some smudging. If you're looking for an eyeliner to wear on your eyelids (as opposed to you waterline) then I say you should go for Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. That sucker will stay on all day!

On my own eyes, this stays all day. I usually have a solid 9 hour day before I remove my makeup, and this always seems to be intact. Plus its super hard to remove if you don't use an oil based remover.

I have found this to be the best pencil for water resistance, It will still rub off if you are rubbing often and vigorously, but if you are dabbing gently with Kleenex you'll be fine. remember to use slightly darker make up for photos! My eyes are a little close so I use a darker color at the outer corners. The inner corners are light or without liner at all.
Best Wishes on your future together!

Question
Is this suitable for people with sensitive eyes?
I have very sensitive eyes and cannot wear many shadows and liners as they make my eyes burn and water. I can wear Urban Decay shadows so I was hoping that I might possibly be able to use this liner. Can anyone tell me if this eyeliner irritates your eyes? Thanks!

Any good sharpener will do.
Urban Decay's sharpener is one of the best; very sharp and no corrosion of the metal.
You can sharpen to a thin point for precision, or leave it stubby for waterlines.

I love these pencils, i have them in about 10 colors. You can smudge them a little to soften the line, although not that much. They're meant to stay on so they don't smudge a lot. But the colors are great, and it really does stay on all day. I also use the UD eye primer.

If you want precision, go with a thin brush, like Urban Decay's Perversion angled brush, but any brush will work on it.
A VERY good multi-use brush is Urban Decay's "Multi-tasker"; it's thin enough to work liner, and you can use the flat side for applying eyeshadow. You can even use for applying lip tint or paint, and perfecting any part of your makeup.

Keep in mind the "Perversion" color is intensely pigmented and I don't recommend sharing the same brush for any other use; at the very least, leave it for the last step. Any other color of the line will be fine.

I mostly use a cotton swab for blending or a small, firm shader brush. These smudge quite nicely for a softer look.

I always use my pinky - clean, of course. Within the first 30 seconds of applying the pencil, it is highly blendable. After that, it sort of dries down to a waterproof finish that stays put for most of the day.
