This lip plumper works great and is definitely worth the cost. Lipfusion XL works just a little bit better and unlike this one, you can also use Lipfusion XL as a night treatment. I'm probably not supposed to say this, buy my advice is to do what I did--get both of them on eBay for much lower prices, compare them for yourself and see which works best for you. It's nice to get beauty points from Sephora, but I understand paying $50 or even $30 for a lip plumper seems extreme. I hope this helps you.

I went into Sephora one day with my sister and tried every possible lip plumper. The best was Pout, then lip injection extreme, then lip venom. The worst Lip Fusion (also the most expensive) not worth it.

I like both. The Too Face gets my lips plumper, but it burns more. I usually use the other at night.

I've only just started using the Too Faced, but have been using the Fusion for about 6 months...both have their benefits- I think I'll stick with the Fusion at night because it stays on so well, but I'm liking the Too Faced for daytime, partially because of the enhanced lip color it provides. I could live without the stinging, however!

Stay with the Fusion. I have used that for years too and have had good luck with it. You get what you pay for and red stinging lips isnt my idea of saving anything.

I use both, but I prefer this one, its not as thick as the other, it plumps more, and it stays on pretty well. not as well as the thicker one, but it still does the job, and you'll get plumper lips faster with this one.

I've used both. I actually felt that the longterm advantages of using LipFusion XL were more apparent that the long term advantages of using Lip Injection Extreme.

I find it works better then Xl I have also used this product. With two Face my lips plumped up looking pinker which told me it works.

I've been using this product on and off for quite awhile. It only works while you use it--for lips to stay plump, you have to keep applying it. But if you discontinue use, your lips will just go back to looking the way they normally do. This product doesn't produce any long term adverse effects, so you don't have to worry about your lips wrinkling or looking shriveled at all. I hope this helps you.

No, it's not as though you are surgically injecting your lips with this, after you stop using any plumper your lips will eventually go back to their normal size. No saggy, stretched out, battle scared lips if you can't get your hands on this or another brand.

I really doubt they will discontinue this gloss, since it's so popular. If for some crazy reason they do, your lips will most likely go back to the way they were before you started using it. Also, there are other similar plumpers out there, such as fusion beauty that could take it's place.

I have small and thin lips too, and when it comes to plumping glosses, I've tried them all! In my opinion, this is the second best lip plumper out there. The first and best is Lipfusion XL. It's very pricey but it plumps better and for a longer period of time than this one does. Also, Lipfusion XL is much more effective as a night treatment. But for the price of this Too Faced lip plumper, you simply can't beat the results. I usually use both--the Lipfusion XL at night and in the morning, and this Too Faced one for touch-ups during the day. I hope this helps you!

If you usre it for a while like a month it will give you permanent effects ive been using it for 2 1/2 weeks and everybody has been telling me there bigger and look really hot so it takes a month to get the full permanent effects.

Honestly, this is the only lip plumper I have ever used that actually works. I have tried DuWop's Lip Venom among other brands. Most of them provide a tingle at best, but none delivers plumping results. I absolutely love Lip Injection Extreme for when I want fuller lips.

i recently bought me the too faced glamour gloss, its super cute and way cheaper but its not as stong as the extreme. but the other lip gloss by too faced is my favorite i dont remember what its called but that lip gloss is the best (to me at least)!

i don't think so---i tried lip fusion, venom, and BE. this one is the best of all of them. maybe surgery would be better than this gloss.

Try Lip Injection Supreme as a basecoat and regular tinted Lip Injection over top. Super tingly, but it works.

I love to layer lip plumpers like this with lipstain ( and I think tarte lipsurgence lipstain is best). For this one, I like to wear it first under lipstain--I apply it, then wait two minutes, then apply the lipstain. And then after the lipstain is dry I put it over the lipstain for a nice, glossy finish. Since it's nice and portable I also stick it in my purse for touch ups throughout the day. Though keep in mind, just this product alone will give your lips a slightly darker color than they normally have, so even when you don't use lipstain or lipstick, you still get a hint of color. Yes you can! As a make up artist (for this product in particular) it is best to use lip injection before your lipstick....you can also reapply lip injection over top lipstick for a mid day touch up....but be careful lip plumpers are irratence and darken your natural lip color if you are wearing pale tones it is not wise to appy after lip stick it will alter yor look.

On the box it says, "Wait one minute before applying lip color or balm to allow the unique formula to penetrate your lips." So yes, you can :)

After you leave the product on for about a minute, add lip color and to help make the color last longer add translucent powder over it and reapply your lip color again.

I wait till the product plumps, then dab a little of the stickiness off and apply a lipstick and/or colored lip gloss. If not, it can feel way too sticky and appear too globby.

Permanently? No. But if you use in the a.m. and before bed they'll stay plump throughout the day.

I have never used Duwops lip venom, but by the looks of the lip venom reviews i decided not to buy because of all the dissatisfied customers. If you look at lip injections by Too Faced reviews their all positive. It does work so good. I'm buying this forever.

Both products are comparable in terms of immediate plumping effect, although Extreme stings a bit more. Extreme does have long lasting plumping that you'll start to notice after a couple weeks of regular use. Regular Lip Venom does not have any long term effects, regardless of how long you use it.

That being said, Lip Injection Extreme is similar to Lip Venom 2nd Sin. 2nd Sin does offer long term plumping in addition to immediate effects. I prefer Lip Injection Extreme because after repeated usage the 2nd Sin dried out my lips, where as Extreme does not. The long-term effects of Extreme are also more prominent.

By observation alone, it seems to be stimulating the circulation in your lips.

It stimulates the blood flow in your lips. Which basically means the serum in the plumper brings blood to your lips and makes them swell which makes your lips look plumped for a little while. It tingles but doesn't really hurt. Good product & it works, but its expensive and a very small bottle.

It just promotes blood flow to the area so your lips swell a bit.

the ingredience in this lip plumper is what is making your lips plump. it brings all the blood to the surface of your lips, thus giving the lips the full look. it's kinda like an allergic reaction...you get stung by a bee and you get a bump...same kind of idea but i don't recommend getting stung by a bee!..lol

The gloss dilates your blood vessels, which causes plumping and enhanced coloration.

I own both the regular and extreme lip injection glosses. I don't notice much of a difference with the regular lip injection. I notice a big difference in my lips with the extreme. I suggest the extreme and feel it is worth the price.

the extreme plumps a bit more, but what the extreme does that the original does not, is create long term effects.

some may not see it but i deff see the difference i get more of a fuller look than with the regular one and this extreme to me burns a little more

I have both this product and the regular lip injection. The regular Too Faced lip injection gives satisfactory results. But this product gives much better results that are SO worth the expensive price! Aside from the Fusion Beauty LipFusion XL, this is the most effective lip plumper I've ever used (and I've tried them all, believe me!) This product really plumps up lips for several hours. Lips look even fuller and more noticeable than they do with the regular lip injection. Since the results of this product are so much better, I think it's worth paying the extra price. And since the results of this product last for hours, whereas you have to keep reapplying the regular lip injection every hour or so, I think this product ends up being a much better value for your money. I did not like this product as much as the first lip injection. I feel as if the first one works better.

After I apply the gloss, I rub my lips together a lot to get it soaked in good. After about five minutes my lips look fuller and moisturized.

i noticed it in a matter of minutes it really works i use it in the morning afternoon and evening so i use it often and so far its working

This product only provides temporary plumping to the lips. You will notice plumping within minutes of application, but the effect wears off after a few hours. This is not a solution that will plump lips permanently.

I have been using it 2 weeks, I do not notice a permanent difference, just a very temporary one. Do not kiss right after applying it! The way it burn/tingles would freak any unsuspecting lips out!

Lip Venom causes a more cooling, less dramatic sensation, and, to me, plumps a little bit, but it doesn't cause a HUGE difference in the size of my lips. While it does plump, no one is going to be like "Wow! Your lips are huge!" Lol. Lip Injection Extreme is a burning, tingly, and, after a few minutes, numbing feeling. When I use it, I see a visible difference in size and shape. It increases the blood flow to your lips, and also the natural color of your lips, so you end up with full, plump, pinkish-reddish lips. With Lip Injection Extreme, make sure your always careful not to go over your natural lip line, as it tends to make the outsides of your mouth turn red and burn. Personally, I use and love both products, so its more of a personal decision, but I hope this helped!

Venom does absolutely nothing for me, no stinging and definitely no plumping.

Lip Injection Extreme is better than Lip Venom by far. I haven't compared the rate of effectiveness--to me, it's the color I'm looking for more than the plumping effect.
Also, the wand delivery mechanism for Lip Injection Extreme is superior to Lip Venom's messier sqeeze tube.

In addition to using AM+PM, I have applied this product right before leaving for girls night out and right before I know pictures will be taken with no detrimental results.

I can't give you an expert answer on that, but I've been using it a couple of times throughout the day instead of AM and PM, and I haven't had any issues or discomfort. I wouldn't use it as often as I use regular gloss or chapstick for fear of getting some sort of reaction, but if they're telling you to use it twice a day I don't see why it would matter if it's at 2pm or 11pm when I'm getting ready for bed.

I have not noticed any issues using it 3 or 4 times per day. My lips seem moist and happy.

I use and have used this product all day long, throughout the day. No signs of any damage or sense of any tingling or problems at all! My advice..use as often as you feel like it!
