I just put a pea sized amount on my roots just after shampoo. I let air dry for awhile because I am lazy. I blow dry for about two minutes, sometimes not at all. I get more volume with the blow dry, of course, but I just fluff up with my fingers if I am in a hurry.

Apply this wonderful serum just as you would any Heat Protecting or Anti-Frizz Serum, though you can use it both on damp hair as well as on dry hair. It's important not to use too much product as a few drops will go a LONG way; especially if you're using it on dry hair.
STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS:
1-Pump 2-3 drops into your palm when using on damp hair and 1-2 drops when applying to dry hair.
2-Rubs your palms together.
3-Work the serum all over your hair with your hands paying special attention to your ends.
4-Blow Dry your hair if it's damp and/or continue to style if your hair is already dry.
*Keep in mind that if your hair is longer than shoulder-length you should increase these amounts: E.G. 3-4 Drops for mid-back length hair, 4-5 Drops for waist length hair. Remember to use a bit less (Usually -1 drop) when you're applying the serum to dry hair.*
**The same applies if you have a LOT of hair, or it is very thick, always make sure to adjust the amount of product you apply according to the length, amount, and thickness of your hair, and that goes for ALL hair products.**

I use it as a smoothing serum. I put a little in my hair before I blow dry, and then if you style with heat, apply as well :)

You can definitely use both the Phytodefrisant Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm & Phytolisse Finishing Serum while straightening hair. If your hair is already dry and damaged, then more protection while heat styling is especially important. Try applying a dime size amount of the Balm to clean wet hair to smooth & soften before blow-drying. Apply 1-2 pumps of the serum to dry hair either before or after using a flat iron to strengthen hair & add shine. You may also want to consider using a weekly treatment for dry hair like the Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Mask.

I have very curly hair which I gotta straighten it every 3-4 months (been more than 10 years) so I have very dry hair especially very damaged at the end of my hair. Phyto products helped my hair look calm and I can tell this serum works really great. Also phyto 9 works great if you have very damaged hair. phyto 7 is for damaged hair and 9 is more damaged ones. I've used all the three when sephora staff recommended me and I use both 9 and serum because serum isn't 100% enough to calm/organize my hair but it has very nice scent and still helps great (so I can use it 2-3 times whenever I feel my hair is dry coz it isn't greasy at all) but I use 9 after I take a shower like once a day because phyto 7 or 9 is heavier than serum. Hope this helps.

On wet hair before applying any other products. Use a small amount, I use like 4 pumps and have shoulder length hair and apply from roots to ends (more wherever your hair tends to frizz, mine is the crown).

I added just a smidge to my hair after washing before blow drying, along with all of the other "stuff" I use for volume etc. I also used a tiny bit after blow drying on the surface. You don't need more than a tiny (tiny) bit ....and I have long hair. My hair came out really nice, soft, sleek and no frizz without using my hair iron

I also have Phytolisse, and for my fine hair, it leaves it really nice, but don't put too much. I also use the T3 big round ceramic brush (but make sure to use the size of brush that depends how long your hair is, mine is to the middle of my back). I use the phytolisse when i blow dry in sections, i put it on after i had just sectioned my hair, and i blow dry it, then follow with the cool shot, then as that is done and dried i pull down the next part of wet hair, then i put some on for that whole section of wet hair, then blow dry, and then finish with the cool shot for that section. I repeat it till it's all done, the cool air will relax the hair. and then what i do, is before i put some of that on for the finish, I'll wash my hands, just so it's not too much of the serum going in to my hair, then i put a tiny bit to finish the style, but make sure this time you rub it in till it's well in and that it's a dryer feeling, then just put your hands into you hair, going from bottom to top. hope that helps.

Its really going to depend on the thickness and length of your hair. Since i have very dense thick hair, i need quite a bit. But if your hair is thinner half a pump should do.

It really depends how much you should use. If you have very coarse hair, do you blow dry? If so, put a little bit in beforehand, and then when you style use a tad as well. You will know if you use too much. If you use the other product, don't use as much as the serum as you would with out it. Make sense?

Sorry I don't know the ingredients but you can probably find out on Phyto's website. This is a phenomenal product. I have fine blond hair and it is the only product that controls flyaways but doesn't weigh hair down or make it greasy. Love!!!!

As a customer who used phyto 7, 9 and serum, I'd recommend you to try this. I believe these both are great products but it's still a hard to decide like which is better btw louis vuitton or gucci. So I'd recommend you to get samples of both products frm near sephora and you can decide. Phyto is very well known hair products company and I tired some of them and they work awesome for severely dry/damaged hair. From the other products review, it seems like it's similar to phyto and also popular, so it's your call!

Definitely Phyto works better in my opinion. I have used both and the Oscar Blandi is just too thick. If you've never felt Phytolisse, it's not like regular hair serums... it almost feels like water on your fingertips. My hair get really greasy really fast ond when I use Phytolisse, I can wear my hairstyle for DAYS without it looking gross... I can even put a little more on as the days go on and STILL it doesn't look greasy. Also, I find that my hair feels "tangled" when I use Oscar Blandi Serum. I love the way the Jasmine smells, but that's about it...
Literally, I feel like I have movie star hair when I use Phytolisse. Use on wet hair to lock in moisture and shine, then also use on dry hair for a finishing touch of brilliance. Hope this helps.
