YSL will not cover up your dark circles (it only provides sheer coverage and is better as an illuminator pen). This Givenchy concealer will cover your dark circles and illuminate them.

Mister Light gives better coverage without being cakey. It's also slightly cheaper too. I own both, but my go-to one is definitely the Givenchy.

I have both the ysl one and the givenchy one. I think the ysl is good to use as a highlighter, because it has sheer coverage, I would use it to highlight my brow bones, my nose bridge and the lips. But the givenchy one has a medium coverage, it is very good at covering dark eye circles. The ysl one can not cover dark eye circles at all, you have to use another concealer first and then put the ysl one on top to do the highlight, which might cake your eyes.

Which Givenchy Mister Light is #03?

I visited a Sephora store to find a concealer for my skin tone and was interested in a pen version. The sales rep used the Mister Light on me and I had her write down the product number so I could see if I really liked the product after wearing it all day. I can't locate the one she wrote on your site - #03. I have fair skin with yellow undertones, light freckles, brown eyes and reddish-brown hair.

Yes it does contain SPF. If you look at the ingredients, Titanium Dioxide is present and that is a physical sunblock. It is natural and normally does not irritate the skin compared to chemical sunscreens.

I really like to use YSL Touche Eclat under the eyes, because it's much lighter than usual concealers and because it is light-reflecting. Is this product similar to Touche Eclat in that way? Is it just as light, or heavier? I cannot decide if this product (Instant Light) or Mister Bright is closer to Touche Eclat, for the effect I'm looking for.

Mister Light is more of a concealer and will conceal pimples to dark circles to give you a perfect complexion. Mister Bright is more of a highlighter with reflecting particles that will reflect light to cover very tiny imperfections but nothing major like dark circles or pimples. Hope that helps.

YES, this is similar, but BETTER than YSL's touche eclat. YSL's always seemed to have a funny smell and at times i felt it maked me look older, perhaps b/c it was too heavy on the skin. This is lightweight and does the job of brightening without being too heavy. Definitely try it.

To get the color to flow you twist the bottom half clockwise. If it is brand new it takes several turns to get it to begin and after that just a click or two to get a small amount as you need it.

Hold with brush upright and keep twisting the bottom of the pen until the product flows. May take a few more turns then you would expect...
