I apply my mascara right after applying the base. If you wait too long it dries and gets a bit hard, at least it did for me.

I prefer to put my mascara on immediately after...though if you do wait it is not a problem, but I like the look of my lashes better when put the mascara on right away.

Hi,

You do need a mascara over this. Although it did nothing for me, I can see that it may work for other people. What's really important is that you wait until it's definitely dry before applying mascara so it doesn't mix with the mascara and end up in the mascara tube (via the mascara wand/brush).

Follow the directions for best results.

I tried to put my mascara on before it dried, and it ruined the mascara. I'd wait until dry. I don't have any patience either ;o)

can you use this product without mascara for a "natural look"?

I am fair haired/skinned and I usually use brown mascara, but sometimes even that looks too makeup-y, too fake. So I thought of buying a clear type mascara. I used to own one 10 years ago but I'm not sure they make them anymore.

No the white color does show up on lashes.
If you are looking for a clear mascara, try the lancome brush groomer in clear. It looks and works just like a mascara.

Hi,

Definitely wait until it's dry so that you don't transfer this back into the mascara tube, via the mascara brush (wand). I'm not positive how long it took to be thoroughly and totally dry - someone advised me to do everything else I had to do before applying the mascara over it, so I brushed my hair, applied perfume, got dressed and then put on my mascara. I tried it a couple of more times the same way. I wish I could be more specific but I really found this did little for me, so I'm not going to experiment with it again. I do know that a lot of people really like this.

Apply your mascara right after applying the primer-no need to wait for it to dry down. I like to work with one eye at a time. Then do the other eye. Works great!!!

In the past, I've tried other enhancers with fibers and they were horrible (clumpy, goopy, and would end up in my eyes) CILS BOOSTER has none of that. So easy...just preps the lashes for mascara - Definicils preferred!

I am devoted to Blinc's mascara, but would like to add length and volume to my look. Does this product work with Blinc's formula? Does Blinc's ability to stay put remain when layered over this priming product?

i also love blinc's kiss me mascara. i tried them to together and was not happy with the results. the lancome mascara base is too clumpy and i did not like how it goes on white. i switched to the shiseido mascara base and the results are so much better. the shiseido mascara base is clear. the blinc mascara seems to work just as well over the mascara base.

Definitely before.

If you curl your lashes after applying, there's a very good chance that some of your eyelashes will be pulled out. And who wants lashes that are always getting pulled out?

So, the solution to this is curl them before. This way, your lashes will be held by the Cils Booster even more so.

Can you use this Primer with a different type of mascara that's not made by Lancome?

I'm thinking about buying Blinc Kiss Me or Too Faced Injection mascara and want to know if this primer can be used with it. Will the tiny tubes be affected by this primer? I've been hearing such great reviews on this product and want to use this primer with a different mascara thats not made by Lancome.

I've used it with everything from drug-store brands to several different brands in the "lash stash" sampler, I've had wonderful results everytime. This makes any mascara better.
