Fresh Rice Dry Oil

What it is:A deeply nourishing and restorative oil for the entire body. What it is formulated to do:After working with their hands immersed in rice paddies, Japanese rice farmers began to realize the regenerative, purifying, and nourishing benefits of rice. Fresh tapped into that power by combining the extraordinary skin benefits of rice grain with a variety of oils and extracts (such as jojoba, rice bran, borage, and grapeseed oils), to create a richly moisturizing skin softener.

I have tried the Fresh Sake and it is not the same scent. What goes beautifully with this oil is Bath and Body's Rice Flower and Shea, found only in their "classics" collection. I shower with their gel, towel dry and use this oil, followed by the BB body lotion and body spray. For the bath, this oil is phenomenal after a soak in the Fresh Rice Sake Bath. The layering of these products is intoxicating! The other perfumes that go very well with this is Kenzo Flower, Kenzo Amour and Kenzo Holi.

I don't think I would - it is designed for body use. The oils and fragrances it contains might cause breakout - and rice is not the top ingredient.

I'm no skin expert, but I would not recommend this product for your face. Unless you have extremely dry skin and use the likes of canola oil or crisco it would just be way too moisturizing. Your face would smell really good though.

This has ALOT of different kinds of oils, not just rice water. It's really strongly scented for the face also. It's not a thin oil either, it leaves a sheen on my skin that would be really unattractive on the face. I wouldn't recommend it!

My first bottle of this product did come with a sprayer, but now it does not. You might check with Fresh or see if Sephoira sells a sprayer that would work.

No it does not come with a spray. This oil is really heavy and moisturizing, way more than a spray body oil.

Question
Did the scent change?
I have bought this oil for years and it used to smell very strongly of warm peaches and apricots. The last bottle I bought, however, doesn't smell like much at all. And the oil feel lighter. Not as rich. I'm really disappointed. What happened? Has anyone else noticed these changes?

Yes. I still have an older bottle, and it definitely has a stronger smell as well as a peachy scent which is not in newer bottles (which doesn't really smell like anything) :(

I honestly don't know if this is intended for treating stretch marks. This is a moisturizing, lightly scented product. I definitely notice that when I use this product that my skin stays moisturized and soft throughout the day- even dry patches like elboes. However I have scars on my arms and I don't see any difference and I've been using this product for years. So I'll say that it won't harm your stretch marks but if you want to treat your marks and see a change then you might want to find a product that is intended/targeted to solve that problem.

Use this product because you want a substitute for boring old lotion and you want to treat yo'self.
