No High beam is not a concealer. it only gives light to certain areas of the face to make it looks brighter.
you may wanna use Sephora concealer (make sure you moisturize before applying it)

It would depend on whether or not your skin has pink undertones. If your skin has pink undertones, then highbeam is the one for you since it's a shimmery pink. If your skin has yellow undertones, then moonbeam would be the one for you, since it's more of a shimmery yellow/gold colour. But since you said you use "MAC NC30", the "C" stands for "cold" or "cool" as in cool-toned skin. Cool-toned skin is skin that has pink undertones. So you should get the highbeam. I have dark brown hair, brown eyes, medium skin and also use MAC NC30 and I am in love with high beam. I have tried moon beam, originally thinking that because my skin tone was medium that it would look better than high beam because of the golden undertones, but I was wrong. Something about the medium skin and cool undertones...high beam just looks more natural and I find that it shows up a lot better! I would definitely recommend it over moon beam for someone with your characteristics.

I think that High Beam would work for you. I haven't tried Moon Beam, but High Beam is great. I definitely recommend it. I t would probably work with your skin-tone.

I think High Beam should work on any skin tone. It's a highlighter, so it actually doesn't deposit any color - just luminizes and adds sheen.

I have skin that's a little bit lighter than olive, and I was also worried that High Beam's pink undertones would look strange on my complexion. I've found that it works on just about every skin tone, and that you hardly see any pink at all once it's pink applied. If anything, it adds a touch of natural-looking color. But if you're really worried, you could try Moon Beam (also by Benefit) which I believe is similar to High Beam, except with different undertones.

If you have olive skin tone you could work with either one. High Beam is more of a pinky/pearl glow. But if you want my honest opinion I would go with Moon Beam, which is more of a golden pearl glow, and if find it is the most flattering on olive skin tones

I have found that instead of using the brush, just dip one of your fingers onto the product and dab it on with a patting motion. A very little bit goes a long way.

I have very fair skin and use a highlighter above my cheek (blend 3 dots in a line along the upper ridge of cheek, be careful not to run into under eye area) You can also add a dot above your cupids bow and along eyebrow bone (just under natural arch) Also, I've found moon beam to be more flattering (I know its surprising since its gold but really it also has a lot of pink.

Use your fingers to "dab" it. If you rub, it will take off your foundation or powder. But applying to clean fingers and dabbing does the trick!

After dabbing on several small dots under my eye, close to the cheek bone, then upwards to just past the eye, I lightly dab with my finger to blend. High Beam blends very easily and smoothly....softly...instantly...not sticky at all.. I would not use a brush to blend in this area...this is a beautiful product and easy to blend with your fingertip.

For your brow: I dab on two or three dots under my brow right at the 'arch area' and use a tiny brush to blend....easy...soft...and just the right touch. If you want to dab between the skin of the inner eye and nose bridge, use the small brush again. Beautiful results in these three areas

Put a drop on the tip of your finger, tap the fingertip lightly across your cheek then blend it.

I apply it over my powder foundation by doing the following:

Apply product to clean first and middle fingers on my non dominant hand, rub into first and middle fingers on my dominant hand to spread out product, and then tap product into place (I apply as a cheeck highlight and onto my cupid's bow). Just tap it until it is even and gorgeous. If you rub, it will take off your foundation and look not so pretty -- but tapping does the trick. Hope that helps!

your problem is if your using mineral based foundation. Anytime you have mineral makeup you have to stick to only mineral makeup, this is liquid so when you mix the two they don't respond well i would recommend a mineral highlighter. hope that helps!!

i put it on my fingers first and then rub it in where i want it. if you don't want it to be SUPER noticeable, like on your cheekbones/temples/wherever, put in on over concealer or foundation but under any bronzer or blush you use. you'll look more glowy. where you want it to be a little brighter, like on your brow bone or inside eye corners, put in on over the bronzer or powder.

Try rubbing it into your finger a bit and then just lightly tapping the area where you want the shimmer...that way you don't have to do any rubbing in.

use this product under minerals not over

You can also try applying it under your makeup, it won't be as shimmery but it'll work.

While it's gorgeous and the consistency is great, you do need to reapply throughout the day if you're hoping to retain the dewy look.

This product lasts on me all day! I love it!

In my experience, I have found that I never have to reply it throughout the day. It stayed dewy and looked natural!

I have never had to reapply High Beam.

For me, it lasts all day. It is not as "dewy" by the evening, but the highlight color is still there and it still feels smooth and moist on my skin.

It does seem to last for many hours, think, because it is liquid and gets absorbed into the skin very well.

For mineral or any powder makeup apply highbeam before you put on your make up!! Make three small dots along the cheek bone ( or anywhere else you want to put it) and blend with your fingers! Your fingers help blend because of your body heat. If you are prone to break outs wash your hands first!

It slightly does moisturize the skin, but it is more about the glow. It is suppose to highlight and add definition to your cheeks and brow bones.

This luminzer does not have a tanning effect like you mention - however, I personally would not use it over my entire face. High Beam has a very pretty, very pearly finish, but I think it would be too much. I have found it looks best used sparingly, as a highlighter to the cheek bones and brow bone - and, that way, it will last you ages.

You can definitely mix it! I do it all the time. I find that this product works best when mixed with a concealer or foundation!

This is not a bronzer, so it doesn' t look fake. I mix a dab in with my foundation or with my moisterizer when i'm not wearing makeup. I love the brightness it gives my skin!

It does create a glowing look, not so much one that looks like from the sun, it is more of a highlighting solution with a almost whitish pinkish finish . I would suggest using benefit's bronzer, which is also excellent and then layering this over the bronzer and I think it would have the dewy and bronze effect you would like.

I mix a tiny tiny bit with my moisturizer and apply to my entire face then put Philosophy's Supernatural tinted moisturizer (also a primer) on. If I want more coverage I put a light dusting of BE and my skin looks very natural and has a nice even tone. I top it off with Highbeam on my cheeks & under my brow. This look gives me a glowy, dewy & natural look. I have combination acne prone oily skin so finding this "routine" took awhile. These products work great together. A little more info than requested...long story short a tiny bit works great with moisturizer.

It's more of a shimmer. I mix it on my hand with foundation or even tinted moisturizer and I just stipple it on my face with a duo fibre brush and it looks airbrushed and glowy at the same time. Perfect for spring/summer. I hope this helps.
