Yes, it comes with a sponge, but it looks better if you apply it with a kabuki or powder brush.

This product does come with an applicator pad, but it doesn't last very long. I bought a pack of powder pads and I usually switch to them after the Benefit one wears out.
Most days I apply concealer, foundation, my Get Even powder, and then blush. But when I don't feel like doing the whole routine, I can skip the foundation and just use concealer, powder, and blush. It mostly depends on your skin and the coverage you need/prefer. This powder gives great coverage on its own.

This item does come with a sponge. For best results I would use this for setting foundation and for touch-ups, but it can be used alone if you do not need full coverage.

This is better at reducing shine than hello flawless, but does not provide as much coverage, so it depends on what you're looking for.

I used BE Fairly light, and I use the light in this product. P.S. You may not even need the BE after you try this

answer 3
go for the light. because it's a powder foundation- it will blend nicely with your skin so you could even go a step up without having a streaky/dark look. benefit foundations are known for warming to your natural skin tone- so don't be afraid!

I think you should use the medium. The light one is really, really pale which is meant for very fair skintones.

If your skin is fair (porcelain) with pink undertones, use light. I have fair skin with yellow undertones (freckles) and I found the medium to be perfect for me.

I don't think that this product causes acne since it is oil-free and is an oil-absrober, and the coverage is not thick and heavy since it is powder based.

I assume you mean Non-comedogenic (does not causes pimples & blackheads. While Benefit doesn't specifically claim that their products are hypo-allergenic or non-comedogenic; given that this product is oil free and its purpose is threefold: to even out skin tone, to matify and as an oil blotting powder. chances are it is safe to say it is not going to cause acne.
