I do not think this is oil free...It caused pretty bad breakouts on my combination/sensitive skin. I had to return it :(

They are both similar in color, however Irresistible has more of a yellow based tone where as Dallas has a cooler red undretone.

i use casino because it is more shimmery with hints of gold to make you shine and laguna is more of a matte bronzer that is darker but you cant really tell.

It has absolutely no oils or pore clogging ingredients in it, I've thoroughly checked, it's great even on acne-prone skin. This can't be said about any other bronzer but this one.

NARS website reports that some of their products do contain parabens, they do not distinguish which ones. They also explain their reasoning for paraben use, as well as the use of animal biproducts.

I am pretty confident that all of Nars products are parabin in free. To be honest many drug store brands have removed parabins. You can always read the ingredients if you question it, they are always listed.

I would honestly say go in the store and try (love that you can do that at Sephora). As sometimes products look a lot darker than they actually are. Also, I notice with bronzer, you'll have to use a lighter hand and build up to the color you want/prefer.

Go for Laguna! It's popular for a reason-- it looks great on just about any skintone, and it's buildable to whatever intensity you like.

Question
How does this compare to BareMinerals original bronzer?
As far as color is concerned, at least? Is it lighter, or darker, and how pigmented it? The BareMinerals bronzer I've been using is the original all over face color, called "Warmth". Thanks for the help, ladies!

I would say it's a nice warm shade. You'll have to use a light hand and build for coverage. It gives you a natural looking sheen; a small amount of shimmer; not overpowering as some bronzers tend to be. I use Nars Laguna, Tarte Hotel Heiress and Physicians Formula and love them all. My favorite thought would have to be Tarte's Hotel Heiress.

Question
bronzer newbie...
Hi,
I'm new to bronzer-- I've never used it before, but I recently found out that my roommate (who has skin that's almost the same shade as mine, but who never looks as washed out as I do and always looks like she's just returned from a vacation) wears NARS bronzer and so I've decided I should try using bronzer. I'm very pale, and I have hazel eyes. I'm a natural redhead and I have "warm" skin. I get freckles on my arms and legs during the summer. What shade of NARS bronzer should I use for a natural look? (I don't want to look like I'm wearing bronzer; I just want to look like I'm healthier and have nicer skin and a "glow".) What type of brush should I use to apply it? What is a good, idiot-proof method for a beginner to use when applying bronzer? (=Where on my face am I supposed to put it if I want a natural, subtle look?)

Thanks so much!!

Bronzer is very easy to apply! DIp an angled brush into the bronzer and make a fish face. Apply the bronzer onto the hollows of your cheeks (where your cheek go in) and feather it out. Apply the bronzer to your neck and hairline to make the "tan" more realistic. This is called contouring. This will make your face appear slimmer and more defined. Good luck!!

Check out this video on how to apply a bronzer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNo7lrUH_cs

But to answer your question, I think NARS laguna if applied with a very light hand and a big kabuki brush (like the one sold by echotools in drugstores) would work fine for you
