I have a girlfriend who has the same completion as Gabrielle Union and she also prefers Luguna NARS. We were just taking recently and she shared with me that she has tried others but she still likes the natural glow that Luguna gives her.

try this one- it's my favorite for my olive skin. it's not too red or orange, but the perfect mix of tan skin, brown & yellow. i tend to get very tan in the warmer months because i'm outside all the time, and this bronzer works great even then. as long as you apply it sparingly it doesn't look artificial.

Question
Is Laguna too dark of a bronzer for fair skin?
I have pretty fair skin - I want to do the value pack with this bronzer, the two blushes and the Copacabana, but I'm worried that this bronzer will show up too dark on me??

I have not seen Casino in person; however, I have very fair skin and use Laguna. Laguna looks very natural and light on my skin tone. I assume that Laguna is build-able product, but my initial guess is that overall it will be too light for your skin tone. Hope that helps!

It doesnt go on too dark and you can blend for the color you want. Its very user friendly. give it a try- the worst that can happen is you have to return it. Also, it may be a gpood color for you for summer!

I have fair skin and I use this bronzer everyday. It is super blendable. If you use a heavy hand on accident, you can blend away with a fluffy brush easy. I highly recommend laguna for fair skin.

I have fair skin too, and this bronzer looks fabulous. If you use a light hand and don't use too much on then I think you would look beautiful with it on. It's all about using the right amount for certain skin tones. I think laguna works well on fair skin tones. :)

I have fair/light skin as well, and this was my concern too! However, I find that Laguna is very buildable, so I can control how dark this bronzer gets. It was definitely worth the money for me.

Question
Laguna or Casino- which one for me?
I am a Caucasian with black eyes, brown hair, and medium skin with reddish olive undertones and freckles (I am Italian and Irish.) My face is slightly lighter than my body, so which shade should I choose if I want a healthy, natural glow?

I made a comment on this on the main page but here it goes on the q & a. If you have any concerns about which color to pick and cannot make it to a store to check it out go with Laguna... it looks amazing on everyone. I've been a NARS make-up artist for a while and its my most used product hands down. But definitly pick Casino if you naturally are darker (don't pick a darker color because you want to look tanner!!! Unless you want to powder yourself all over!!) whatever you choose don't pick the newest color it puts shame to NARS bronzers reputation. I literally threw it away as soon as NARS shipped it to me I will not carry it in my train case it is orange.

I'm also half Irish and half Italian and grappling with the reddish undertones thing, although I'm extremely fair (and got more of the Irish in general). I love the Laguna because it works with the red/pink in my skin and makes it look, well, more brown. I'm a lot paler than you, most likely, but it's also buildable. I suggest you do what I did if you can and go into the store and have one of the employees try it out on you.

Laguna is the only one I've tried but I know it would be dark enough for olive or darker skintones. I'm pretty fair completed but I use mystic tan religiously so my face usually gets the darkest from using that beforehand. However I still swept some one even if I'm winter white... SO it's a no brainer for me, because I love it.. Good luck. I love the blush (named Orgasm) duo with the laguna bronzer. Gives you a an EVA Longeria look. :)

A bronzer is only for contouring and darkening the skin, so I'd suggest using Casino. Laguna is a bronzer, not to be used as a highlighter. Yes, you may have medium skin, but that doesn't mean you can't use a regular gold based blush to highlight! Use Casino lightly with a powder brush across your forehead, cheeks, nose, and even your jawline. Then, for extra flare, use it right under your cheekbones for a more sculpted look. Two bronzers would be a waste of money, especially if one is used to highlight without doing the job correctly!

I would recommend Laguna. It is a soft brown that has just enough heat for the cheeks and cheekbones. If you want to be even bolder, go with Casino which is a little darker or you can use both. Use Laguna as a highlight and Casino as a main shade. Bronzer are suppose to be used n th areas where the sun naturally hit such as forehead, bridge of nose, cheeks/cheekbones and chin.

hmmm. I don't think it does and I'm not a dermatologist but whenever I have acne I put topical vitamin E on it and it helps the redness and swelling. I would get a second opinion. I don't think vitamin E contributes to acne.

Dont know about the vitamin e but my daughter has the same issues with acne and she has fewer breakouts now that she is using NARS in Laguna shade. Actually does a beautiful job combined with the smashbox primer & foundation to cover flaws. The combo is MAGIC for her. Application of all products is always done with clean foundation brush by sephora #55 and a seperate bronzing brush.
