Question
Laguna or Casina for Asian Honey beige skin color?
Laguna or Casina for Asian Honey beige skin color? I've read most of the reviews for medium skinned and I've noticed most medium skinned people picked Laguna, and a couple for casino. My skin color is more of a honey beige. I don't want my bronzer to look to light on my skin, I plan on mixing blush and bronzer at the same time.

Neither. I'm half asian and have yellow undertones as well. Laguna doesn't show up on me and casino looks red and muddy. try guerlain. better consistency and better color range for gals with yellow undertones. ;)

It's a tough question because Laguna is a much prettier color but has poor color pay off. Casino has better color pay off but looks more on the orange side... so it's your pick.

No, not at all. I think orgasm is too shimmery as well. I don't really use the powder at all because of that. I LOVE Laguna though. Perfect for fair skin too.

Casino. Your skin color isn't VERY dark, but it's dark enough for casino. Laguna wont show up as well. Casino is more of a countor bronzer. Laguna is more of an all OVER bronzer :).

i use laguna because i have light skin, maybe an nc20 if i had to guess (don't use mac foundations anymore and when i did i was using tanning beds *cringes* so i'm not sure of my shade). if i were you i would go for casino! i think someone at sephora even told me casino is for darker skin tones and laguna is for lighter skin tones. i'd be worried about laguna not really showing up, unless you realllllly layered it.

bronzer does not typically cover redness. you should try a tinted moisturizer or a primer with green undertones.

answer 3
No. Bronzer is just meant to give colour, not cover anything. Furthur more, Bronzer is best if its not worn all over the face as it can look fake. It is typically worn starting at the temples, brought along the cheek bone and then down to the jaw line in a big 3 shape.
You either need to start looking into your skincare for a product to help with redness, or get a good foundation/liquid moisturizer. Try Bare essentuals or make up forever face and body.

ask the ladies at Sephora to show you the proper way or even a friend...the more u put the darker it is, but you dont want to over do it!!!! even coverage all over your face, i like to make it as natural as i can! it works greatl

Hi, i'm not really sure if it can totally cover redness. When the makeup artist at sephora tried this on me as an overall bronzing powder, I found that it covered some of the acne scars on my cheeks. I did however use a light coverage foundation beforehand. I suggest dropping by the store and trying it on for yourself or have an SA help you out, even if the laguna doesn't work for you they can help you find a better one suited for your needs

It's a subtle shimmer. And even though it DOES have shimmer, the shimmer looks quite natural, believe it or not. And, you can adjust the shimmer as you wish. I find the you can buff it out fairly well using a kabuki brush. But really, it's such a subtle shimmer that it looks normal on your skin.

Which Shade?
I have medium/tan olive toned skin. I get pretty dark in the summer, but it is fall now and am looking for a bronzer to get me through the winter months. My skin is definitely not pale, but it loses most of it's tan in the winter. Should I purchase casino or laguna?

My skin is light, but I honestly prefer Casino. It can be applied with a light hand for a very subtle sun-kissed glow (and still look absolutely fab), or can be built to an island goddess-status faux tan. Laguna just can't do that (although it is pretty, too).
