MAKE UP FOR EVER Lift Concealer

More than just a concealer! It contains tensine, an active ingredient with skin-firming properties for the eye area, and vitamins A and E, which regenerate the skin. This multipurpose product also conceals specific, darker areas (brown spots, blotches, etc.) and can be used as a highlighter on the more prominent parts of the face (cheekbones, forehead, and chin) for added radiance. Dany's Tip: "If you have wrinkles around the mouth and eyes, apply directly into the crease, then blend with light movements into your foundation."

I am 54 and have similar coloring and issues - I love this product and use shade 1 everyday. However, I use it over traditional concealer for radiance under eyes, on browbone etc. This shade is great as a highlight/radiance product. If you want more coverage, I would go to a darker shade.

Hi! Back again. I erred in my answer regarding shades. Shade #3 is lighter than shade #2. Important to note that shades do not follow a lightest to darkest theme.

I use #3 or #2 and my skin tone is similar to yours. Keep in mind that 2 is lighter than 3.

Try Dior Skinflash #003- it is pricey but worth it! I also have medium skin with some rosecea & dark genetic circles and the Dior really helps without settling as it is very creamy.

Question
Which color do I choose?
I have fair skin - but not the palest skin. I use 'Fairly Light' as my Bare Minerals all-over foundation color, and Make Up Forever's HD Invisible Cover Concealer I use #315 Ivory.

What color of their Lift Concealer should I try?

I am light in skin tone and I ordered #3. It is actually a little too light but if blended well, it is fine.

I ended up choosing Neutral Beige #3 - and it works perfectly! It was important not to have the pink undertone! Thanks!

I would probably use # 1 if I were you. I am using #2 but that is only because I have a tan. I am normally very light complected.

It sounds like we have a similar complexion. I am happy with #1 lift concealer which is the lightest shade. I don't have porcelain white skin either but am fair skinned with more neutral warm tones and some pink in my skin. I have auburn hair and blue/green eyes. The #1 lift concealer is perfect for me...good luck!

Right color for fair skin?
for fair skin (I usually use Cargo Base in shade 1), is the pink or neutral beige better? Online the neutral looks lighter.

From experience I would not suggest the number 2 - it is too dark for my light skin. The number one is very light and has a lot of pink in it, to me. I purchased the number 3 (weird that the number 3 is lighter than the number 2!) and it was a perfect match and looks and feels great. It is truly a great concealer!

Can I use it alone without eye cream?
Like the title said.
Since I have dryer skin around my eyes, I'm currently using perricone eye cream for sensitive skin.

I don't apply eye cream in the morning and it works well for me...as long as the skin around your eyes isn't dry/flaky. (But if it was you would use eye cream first!)

Like the respondent said earlier, the product has a lotion-like consistency, and as I have skin that dries easily, I am wary of anything that might leach the moisture from my skin. Yet I have never had a problem with MUFE Lift and Conceal.

Question
color/will it dry in the corners and look dry
my skin tone is a golden shade, blonde, hazel eyes, live in FL so always a little color not from trying though but my question is I have tried ALL concealers, I mean ALL and they all look dried out and splotchy, or cakey and never just stay and look like my foundation. Now I really have spent $1000.'s and I really want something that will finally work and stay and not look like it is there. I have had better luck with sticks or thicker ones, never have I had luck with creams, or tubes they always look greasy and when I smile..which is almost all day somedays there it is in the corners by my nose all lined in the creases, I do not have wrinkles just need to think about it every so often and as my husband says tap tap and it makes me crazy.. please help I really need something that will finally and lastly work.. Thank you so very much in advance for your kindness, and if this will work that would be great but if not please recommend any and all you can. I am sending a picture so you can match the color also.

Hi...DOn't know if you've gotten answers about this...I LOVE this item.
I found it by chance one day and am really, really surprised by it. I too
have spent the money on others. This lasts all day...no creasing at
all. I'm really nuts about that and I tend to forget I put it on since I can
never see creasing at the end of a day. I do use their primer which is
great and perhaps that helps, don't know but I do know this is really a
nice product.

This one doesthe trick for me and I have tried them all. One thing I did change was the application. I lightly dot and let it set a minute and then use a concealer brush to blend. Pay extra attention when blending in the corner so that you do not get the build up. I use it extremely sparingly but layer to get the coverge that I need that day, morining or night. Hope this helps you!!

I have fair to light skin with brown eyes. I use the product as I have dark cirlces and it covers them up. It have found that the product does not crease or sit on your face. I have a friend who is a makeup artist and this is the product she uses all the time on celebrities and she swears by it. I also live in an area where there is lots of humidity and I find that I can go out in this and not have it smudge, cake or crease on my face. Somedays this and some loose powder is all I wear. My shade is a number 1, that is the lightest it comes in and I think it would be a good shade for you.

Here's what I do...first apply the concealer around my eyes. I use #3. Then, I apply the foundation; I use 120, soft sand, but I don't put the foundation around my eyes. I just blend the two and it works perfectly. I find that if I put foundation over the concealer it looks heavy and a bit pasty. Of course I use a moisturizer under everything. Maybe this method will work for you. The concealer is awesome...the best I have ever used!

I always apply under my foundation, I also suggest using a larger concealer brush for all over eye and under eye coverage. I then gently will smooth out with a fingertip just to make sure that all areas are covered and smooth.

Yes! And it has many uses:
Lid Primer that tightens loose upper eye area and keeps my eye makeup in place all day!, highlighter for inner corners of eyes (other areas too!), concealer, line filler (dab onto to any wrinkles then blend edges), mix with SPF or moisturizer to get a natural glow. Can also be used as a lip primer for a light nude lip! This stuff does it all and does it well! It's one of my main 'must have' items!!

it is a concealer, so yes it can, but the propertlies of this concelear are formulated for darker areas as it adds radiance and attracts light when applied. You may/may not want to be using this product. Depending on the redness you are trying to hide, you can use the HD green primer first, as this will reduce the redness and then try hd foundation, or you can try MUFE's green concelear. (the green cuts redness as it blends into your skin) I've used the palette form with the green concelear multiple times to cover up ugly red pimples and blotchiness - it's great. Personally, i prefer this concealer for my eyes...but everyone has their preference :)

I haven't tried this concealer on red spots or anywhere other than under my eyes, but I assume it would be medium coverage on those types of blemishes. If you want something more full-coverage, you may want to try the other MUFE concealer or the Amazing concealer. Hope this helps!

Probably #3, the neutral light, unless you have a lot of pink undertones in your skin, in which case you'd want #1.

The only time you can't use make up is when there is a strange smell to it. It is very common with mascara, the smell is awful and it will burn your eyes.

I just use my finger. I put a dab on one finger and then apply a thin coating my other ring finger. With my ring finger, I pat (don't smudge) it onto my dark circles.

I honestly feel the best way to apply this concealer is with your ring or pinky finger. By patting it on instead of rubbing it on. Sometimes brushes can leave little streak marks. Hope I helped :)!
