MAKE UP FOR EVER Star Powder

What it is: This shimmering, silky powder catches the light and gives the skin a unique glow. What it does: Easy to use and suitable for all skin types, this powder combines an extremely fine yet dense texture. Only a small amount is necessary for a visible and fabulous result. What else you need to know: Dany's Tip: "You can shade it off easily with an eye shadow or powder brush. Use a damp brush to increase shine and hold. You can also dab a small amount on the areas of the face that need highlighting: around the eyes, on the cheekbones, and over lipstick." Sephora is the exclusive beauty retailer for this product.

I can't find any info. either way. I checked the caring consumer website and I didn't see them on either list. I emailed the company in Paris several days ago to get an official answer and I haven't heard back yet. I only buy cruelty free.

They do. If you do a search for "companies that test on animals", they show up on several of the websites listed under "companies that do test on animals".

Question
White/Turquoise 944 as a highlighter?
I would like a very light blue color for a highlighter for various parts of my face. I don't want it to look like i have actualy blue on my face, but sort of a bluish glow. Sort of mystical. I have very light skin, raven hair, and medium brown eyes. Is this too blue or not blue enough? Thank you!

Your best bet might be the make up forever primer, they have several tones, depending on your skin, and dont worry about it coming off or caking, once you put it on it stays, regardless of skintype, however, you should solicit the help of one of the sales associates when/or before purchasing, they usually know,or woud try it on the back of your hand. I suggest you go outside of the store in other kind of lighting to actually see if is the one for you. Good luck!

Just use any matte black shadow as a liner or any color you like that is a matte along with an eyeliner brush. I don't buy eyeliner, I use matte shadow and it lasts all day.

We don't currently carry this color. Although we do have most Star Powder shades from Make Up For Ever, there are several colors that we don't carry from the brand.

Question
Star powders being pulled from stores?
I just spoke to a Sephora SA at the Town Center in Boca Raton and she informed me that all of the "eye powders" had been pulled from the shelves. I'm going this afternoon and will double check- can anyone confirm that these will no longer be sold in the actual stores? Thanks!

I think it may depend upon the store. They still have them in Short Hills NJ & in fact Short Hills has a whole huge Makeup Forever display, so I don't think they're gonna be getting rid of Star Powder in my neck of the woods anytime soon. One thing I would remind you -- if you need to order something online because your branch of Sephora doesn't stock what you want, you can still return it right there in your local branch if it ends up not being perfect for you. Happiest Holidays! I'll definitely be needing Star Powder to dress up for the holidays myself, so I can totally understand any minor flip-out you may be experiencing over potential Star Powder withdrawal. I would feel exactly the same way!
